the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: all files in c drive got deleted

I would suggest first you DO NOTHING on the laptop. Depending how important they are you could overwrite them while using the machine.

As for data recovery, stellar pheonix has a free trial. I suggest you use that.

Shoot me an e-mail and i can help you get this fixed.

How do I activate Bluetooth on Acer Aspire 4810TZ-4696?

Check to see if there is an "Fn" key to enable Bluetooth. Most Acer's have a bluetooth icon on the F3 key. By pressing Fn-F3 you are able to enable or disable bluetooth.

Reset to factory seting

Unlike other laptops, Acer Aspire notebook/laptops integrate a computer management utility called 'Acer eRecovery Management' to create backup of hard drive data, create restore point, reinstall applications & drivers, and reset Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9 to factory setting.

Step 1: Before starting your Acer Aspire One laptop, ensure that there is no external storage device attached to it. Now start your laptop.

Step 2: Press 'Alt + F10' when the laptop starts booting, and wait for a moment while Windows loads the reset files.

Step 3: When 'Acer eRecovery Management' window appears, select 'Restore System from factory default' and click 'Next' to continue.

Step 4: Again click 'Next' to reset your Acer laptop. This process will erase all data from your hard disk and reset your Acer one to original factory settings.

Step 5: Click 'OK' in the notification window to begin the the resetting operation. Now wait while your Acer Aspire One is reset to factory settings.

Tips: You can also create a backup copy of your notebook data before factory reset. Simply click 'Backup' in 'Acer eRecovery Management' window.

Egisupdate.exe, my daughter used my puter and now I have this. Certain things are not responding at all. New computer

Malware can be named anything but here Acer is the clue, it may have an encryption program known as MyWinLocker by EgisTec Software installed and EgisUpdate.exe would be the updater.

Do you have MyWinLocker on your laptop?

If yes then below is the vendor site to tell you that its not a Malware..
If its locking up your PC then you may want to end the task and some times a reboot should also help.

Let me know if you need more help.

To restore follow these steps if you do not know how to restore (it might be different for you but if you read your options it should land you in the general direction)

MwlDAEMON.exe failed to start Sysenv.dll was not found, what is this App. and do I need it?

mwldaemon.exe is part of MyWinLocker. MyWinLocker is used to encript files on your pc. sysenv.dll is a part of it . It's missing because the install of MyWinLocker was corrupted.
If you don't encrypt your files then just uninstall it. If you were using it without knowing make sure all your files are decrypted before uninstalling it.
If you still wanna use it just reinstall it.

My acer aspire one netbook tries to boot ,but then goes to a screen giving the choice of pressing f2 to go to setup,or to press f12 to change boot wont even boot in safe mode or last known good...

i was able to go on the acer website on another pc and found that if when you turn on your acer and hold down ALT key while hitting F10 that will bring you to a system recovery screen. you can restore factory settings from there. It will wipe out all of your documents and pix but it does fix the problem.

There are two way's you can restore your laptop,

When you power on your laptop the acer splash screen pop's up, at that time press the -Alt- key and F10 key at the same time,
at the eRecovery Management menu it should ask you how you want to restore, click on the restore option, or

From the window's desktop click on start, then all program's, then acer Empowering Technology, click on Acer eRecovery Management, create a password, click on restore, then click on restore system to factroy default.
