My hard drive on my mac was changed how do i down load the files from my 4g i dont want to loose pictures

You may try this ipod transfer, it can help you copy songs, videos, movie, photos, playlists, podcasts from iPod to computer iTunes. It supports all series of iPod including iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iPod Shuffle, even the iPhone. it's safe and works pretty well for me. Moreover, it will keep the songs play information - rating, playcount, name, artist, playlist, etc. No other iPod transfer can do that
Hope it helps. Contact me if you have any other question.

Archos won't connect by USB to computers

You should keep your eye on the device after its been plugged to the PC it will give you 2 options "charge" or "usb" you ca not establish a connection without picking usb connection option on the Archos screen when it pops up. If you are doing so and problem still existed then i would recommend you to download the latest windows media player. Because it comes with new devices sync driver update.

How do i update my firmware

It is pretty easy. If running Windows just download the Sansa Updater (see link below) and install it.

Then, use the Mac/Linux instructions (even if running windows!) to put the e260 into MSC mode- turn e260 on, switch e260 hold switch to on, press and hold the e260s LEFT button "<<" while you plug the USB cable into the e260.

For me (running Windows XP) the Sansa updater automatically detected the e260 then and updated the e260's firmware.

Links to the updater, and alternative complete instructions for Mac/Linux are here

Ipod nano 8GB waiting and frozen problem

Very, very silly move. Apple builds Mac's so why would they use windows formatting?? Search for and download a trial version of the program macdrive. This will allow you to look at drives as though they were on a mac and also format them. Plug in your iPod. Find the right drive letter for your iPod, right click on it, and select 'Format Mac Disk...' Then itunes should see your iPod and you can restore it.

Zen problems

it may be in a low power state, try a different usb cable and hook it up to a desktop computer (laptop ports are sometimes not powerful enough to charge the battery when it is in a low-power state). I had this exact same problem and that fixed it!

Also check out and look at their support forumns

The reset switch has to be operated using a pin or paper clip. There is a small hole beside the USB socket. If it keeps happening update the software as follows.

Downloader the firmware updater from the mobiblu site
Install the software, connect the player via the USB cable, set the switch to hold and run the updater. When it is finished, stop the device and disconnect it. When you power up, it will be back to factory settings (any data/music will be erased).

I can't get it

I Don't know if you have the same problem i did, but sounds very similiar. Mine did almost the same , i tried to turn it on one day and it wouldn't it just kept saying "Please wait h10 shutting down" but that didn't even light up the screen. So i was thinking oh no its busted! ahh! by now i ahd forgotten tottally that the reset button exsisted untill i read a post on here about it. I pressed it and it fixed. i am hoping that yours is a similar problem, it certainly sounds like it hope it helped, sorry for the life story Duncan!

Cracked screen

I would actually try taking it into a tech place where they can at least recover your hard drive... I would try calling Creative and finding out how much it would cost to replace the screen on it. If not, at least check maybe eBay and have somebody from a local electronics store (best buy, geek squad, radioshack, etc) try to put it on for you. Some places might even be able to order the parts for you. Is it a Vision? Because I have a Creative Zen Touch that had a hard drive failure... So if it's a Creative Zen Touch, I'd be willing to send you the damn thing so you can take the screen off of it since it's just collecting dust now. Hope some of this helps?
