Sounds like it is stuck in stanby. Try pushing the mute button (button on the top of the phone with a line through the speaker). That button puts the phone on standby when you are not in a call.

Hope this helps!

Hi everyone, I am having issues with my BB red indicator light is keep flashing, Was wondering way this keeps flashing and the BB is off but it keeps flashing the red indicator. Thanks for the help.

The blinking red light usually indicates there is a new message(email, text, blackberry instant messenger, etc). Verify that there are no new messages.

My BB 9000 doesn't turn on. A red light is flashing for a while and then disappear. A remove the baterry but it doesn't work. A connect the BB to my laptop and the red light appear flashing again.

Hi,

Remove the battery place it back in and charge the battery for a while. After doing this press the standby key that's found on the top corner edge of your BB 9000. Switch the blackberry on and press the standby key once more. This would solve the problem.

BlackBerry 8700c Can be easily unlocked using remote IMEI MEP unlock code, you can purchase a code online and within seconds you can unlock your phone. Here is a good search result for BlackBerry 8700c Unlock code from google, I recently used this service and it was overall a good experience.
