Hi Jim,if the piston is stuck you maybe able to save it.Remove the spark plug then spray a good amount of W-D4O inside.Next get a strong small round wooden dowel that will fit in the spark plug hole it should be about 10 inches long, then tap it with a hammer to drive the piston down so the W-D40 can lube the piston walls, now pull the string slowly- not to snap it.If the piston does not go up give it more W-D and try again, if it goes up and down the add a new spark plug and right gas mix. If the piston is stuck its not worth having it fixed you can get a used one cheep on Craigslist
i had the first problem and you can probably fix it by turning the volume knob all the way up and down about 20 times. it worked for me. supposedly the potentiometers in the z-5300 get dirty or worn out, somehow this might fix it. for the second problem maybe try plugging it into the laptop and unplugging it again seeing if it goes back to normal?maybe its a problem with the amp?
