Question about JVC Car Audio & Video
This is more of an "FYI" for everyone. Great head unit with user-friendly controls and great built-in EQ & wireless remote. iPod control with optional device. Unit periodically loses all presets; however this seems to only occur after assigning radio station frequencies via the control panel buttons. Otherwise, clock, EQ, and other settings appear to remain. Have found that turning unit off or changing selected input from the disc player before shutting car down helps too. Yes, all of the wiring connections are properly aligned and solid, so please don't ask. We also have a JVC bookshelf system that's not working also; seems 1990's JVC stuff is junk.

Generally, I would say just set them to where they sound the best to you. Different people have different tastes and ideas as to what sounds the best.
