Freezer is slowly getting warmer - water dispenser won't dispense (occasionally) turbo cool won't work

Open freezer door and look for any frost on the back wall inside the freezer. That would indicate a defrost problem.
Disconnect power to refrig. Unload freezer, Remove shelves and back panel inside freezer. Melt frost with a hair blower. Replace defrost heater located at the bottom of the heating coils. (Note: It may look different than the original, but insturctions enclosed with replacement cover that) Might as well replace the evaporator thermister at the same time, as your problem is about 98% of the time one or the other of those parts. The thermister is a white pencil shapped item, about an inch long, located cliped to the top of the cooling coils you just defrosted.
If you don't have the parts on hand, defrosting only will get your refrig working again for several days, while you obtain the parts.
Note: non-water dispensing is the result of the cold air from the freezer not being able to continue over the frost blocked coils, so it migrates back though the return air vent in the bottom of the refrig, resulting in a frozen water line, and often freezing in the bottom bin of the refrig.

your evaporator coil in the freezer behind a panel has iced over and the fabn can't move air over a solid sheet of ice, remove the panel, defrost it with a hair dryer, then check the defrost heating element and defrost thermostat under the coil and defrost control in the refrige section for proper operation

Refrigerator is cold, freezer not freezing

Amana refrig have 2 main problems . 1 is the defrost bimetal ( 1" cylinder at the top right on the freezer coils with 2 wires ) and the other is a refrigerant leak where the copper tubing joins the aluminum tubing at the freezer coils ( evaporator coils ) . If your freezer fan is not working and you have frost on the freezer coils then replace the bimetal as this also controls the defrost heater ( defrost thermostat ) . If you have no frost on the coils ( for both checks , you will have to remove the inside rear freezer panel , maybe 12 screws ) , then a refrigerant leak has happened and the best solution would be to replace the refrig .

My coils are freezing . i have replaced the heating elament and timer and its still freezing.

What timer did you replace ? Your refrig uses a control board , not a timer .
Pull the refrig out and remove the 8 " x 10 " panel . Behind this panel , is the main control board . Unplug the refrig . Remove the BLUE plug from the board , with 3 larger wires going to it . Looking at the blue plug , the sequence will be wire1,wire2,space,wire3 . Get a short piece of insulated wire , and strip about 1/4 inch from each end . Insert 1 end into wire2 , and the other into wire3 . Plug the refrig back in . After about 3 min , look in the freezer , at the bottom , behind the crisper , look for a red glow . If no red glow , unplug the refrig , and reassemble the plug and cover . This no glow , indicates a defrost heater WR51X10055 not working or the defrost thermostat ( pt. number WR50X10068 ) not working . To access these parts , you will have to remove the inside rear wall of the freezer . The heater , is at the bottom of the coils , held on with 2 screws , and the thermostat , is the 1 " cylinder , with a blue and pink wire going to it , clipped on the top left of the coils .
If you do get a red glow , then the # 4 thermistor is bad . This tells the main control board , the temp of the coils , if they need defrosted , when they are thru defrosting . This thermistor is the 1 " long , torpedo looking piece , clipped on the top left of the coils , with 2 white wires going to it . Part number WR55X10025 . It would be advisable to also replace the # 5 thermistor , located at the bottom of the freezer , slightly in front of the drain , also with 2 white wires going to it , slid into a housing . This thermistor , is the freezer thermistor , which tells the control board , the freezer temp and when to cycle off / on .

Fridge cooling freeze up i unplug the unit to defrost plug it back in and works great for about 2 weeks and then begins to freeze up again.it is a Side by Side unit

You have 2 heaters , behind the inside freezer panel. Both heaters , come together in a kit . This is usually the problem , with magic chef refrigs . When replaceing , use the complete kit with wiring . You will have to put the heater guards , with clips , on the new heaters .

Fan cycling low and high

The freezer fan slows down due to the refrigerator section being at the desired setting but the freezer section still needing coolant . If the refrig section needed more coolant , the fan would speed up , forcing more air into the refrig section .
After replacing the heater , it could be in the defrost cycle . The thermistors tell the main control board , " hey , we're freezing , turn on some heat " , in which the heater comes on and defrosts the coils , until behind the rear freezer panel , can get up to 140 degrees . As it gets this hot , the frozen food in the freezer , is what keeps the freezer cold . After defrost , the fan comes on and blows the residual heat into the refrig sectio , until the coils get cold again . So , if the refrig section warms up temporarily , it's normal .

Refrigerator and freezer not working

you might have a defrost problem. Frost free models have a heating element that is controlled by a timer to automatically defrost ice, ie defrost timer turns on defrost heating element every 12 hours to melt ice in freezer and allow good air flow.
You can test defrost element with an ohm meter(located inside freezer coils-will have two wires going to a plug connection), if OK replace defrost timer (located in various places depending on make and model

Coils behind the freezer continue to "freeze up"

You have a problem in the defrost system There are three components: Defrost timer, defrost thermostst or terminator, and defrost heater. One of them has failed which is causing the evaporator to ice.

Refrig & freezer not cold enough; ice forming; low air volume

If ice/frost is building up on the back wall of the freezer then you have a defrost system failure.

Defrost system; Evap Fan, Heater, Thermo disk, Timer.

Evap Fan - this should be running all the time except when it goes into defrost mode.

Defrost Timer - This part is hard to locate on some models, a call to a parts place with the model number can help you find it and tell you if this is the type you can mannualy turn to put in the defrost mode. If you can do this, take the back panel off in the freezer so you can see the cooling coils. The heater should be red hot and melting the ice. If so, replace the timer. If not, you need an OHM meter to check the heater and therma disk.

Un plug the Ref, locate the heater, usually looks like a heating element in an oven and runs across the bottom of the coils. Touch the meter leads to each end of the heater. If no reading, replace.

Therma Disk - located close to where the coils enter the freezer, small round disk clipped to the coils. Check the same as the heater but, you won't get a good reading unless the temp is below freezing. Any doubt, just replace, it's not that expensive.

This is a lot to do, hope this helps.

Coil is Freezing Up

MWKT, did the service tech replace the adaptive defrost board? By your post it sounds like a defrost problem. Check out the pic, this is the adaptive defrost board. I find that the heater and bi-metal usually don't fail on these models and the board is the culprit. Catriver..post back
