1. Select webcams
2. Select VX-1000
3. Select your Windows version
4. Language

It will give you the download link.

There is a possibility that it's the CD, try downloading teh software from this site:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=ICE

In the first box, select 'Webcams', in teh second box select 'Life Cam VX-1000', in the third box select your operating system, and in the fourth box select your language. On the following screen there will be a link to download teh software, simply save it to your desktop, and when it finishes downloading, run it.

Hi,
If you have got the istallation CD for the Cam. You need to uninstall and reinstall the software .
1.Go to control panel , add remove programs , and select the software for the cam and click remove.
2. Make sure you disconnect the cam when you are uinstalling the software and then restart your computer
3.Plug back the cam and redo the software it should fix the issue
