SOURCE: Microwave stops after 14 seconds.

In most cases, this is a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer. You can find one here.

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

SOURCE: My panasonic microwave stops working after 6

If it stops after 7 seconds, it has a problem with the inverter.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

Lead pops off thermal fuse on my panasonic ne1054f

The thermostat and the terminal on the wire must be replaced.

When a terminal is overheated (usually due to excessive current or heat due to a loose connection) the physical characteristics of the metal change, and they will never be the same.

You should also cut back the lead wire an inch or so until you get a bright shiny copper color, making sure you have cut away all the dull pinkish wire.

A similar service manual can be found here, and it should be close enough to help you.

Microwave cuts off after 30 seconds

We would need to know the brand and full model number to be sure, but since you posted in the Panasonic section, I'll assume it's a Panasonic.

Panasonics have preset times in which it will shut off if certain failures occur.

If it stops at 16 seconds and is a sensor model, it probably has a defective humidity sensor.

If it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a problem, usually a problem with the inverter, controller, magnetron, or a bad connection from one or the other.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

I bought the panasonic A574SB in January this year. Since having this occasionally the microwave part cut out after 6-10 seconds, at first I thought this was saftey device. the microwave will now not...

According to a report we received, if it stops after 7 seconds, it has a problem with the inverter.

Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty.

I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.
