I have a kodak easy share printer dock series 3 and the ink cartridge appears to be locked in. The dock is also not pulling any paper into itself and no jam is apparent.

You have to make sure that the plate on the bottom of the paper tray is springy. take out the paper and fit it in so it is on an angle and it bounces then put the paper in.

sounds like its only receiving half the data. try these step... uninstall printer from your device... reinstall printer to device... if youre using a smartphone or tablet, switch to a pc... press and hold the cancel button on the printer... turn it off for 60 seconds then power it... run the nozzle cleaner function, then try again

How do you get the ink cartridge out of the printer

  1. Unplug your Kodak Photo Dock's power cord. Pull the black tab on the right side of the printer down to open the ink cartridge door.
  2. 2 Push up on the green cartridge release tab in the upper center of the ink cartridge to release the old cartridge. Pull the old ink cartridge carefully from the Photo Dock.
  3. 3 Rotate the new ink cartridge's ribbon wheel on the side of the cartridge clockwise with your finger to remove any slack in the film. Do not rotate the wheel too much---this will damage the cartridge.
  4. 4 Insert the new ink cartridge into the Photo Dock with ribbon film facing down until you hear the cartridge click in place. The ink cartridge will only go in one way.

    Do not touch the ribbon with your fingers. Handle the cartridge by its edges.
  5. 5 Close the ink cartridge door and plug in your Kodak Photo Dock's power cord.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); });

Printer dock does not pick up paper.

Try to clean the rubber rollers with lint free cloth. Make sure you are using Kodak Xtralife paper. At the back of the paper it should say "Xtralife".

I have an Easy Share printer dock series 3 that has paper loaded

Dirty rollers? I had the same problem and think the rollers are no longer sticky enough to pick up the paper due to a coating of dust... maybe cleaning the rollers would work?

Hello,

All paper that will fit your paper tray will work. However, it is questionable that all ink will. Each cartridge has a unique chip inside that instructs the printer what the fluid level is and if its been refilled. To keep one cartridge design from being used in the wrong printer there is usually a design in the shape so that it will either not fit or not lock in place.

You can use any Kodak paper, yes. You cannot use any cartridge, no.

Best,
Worldvet
