It was working fine. Then one day we get started to travel no data appears. This is a fine tool when it comes to traveling. All I have to do is just drive without the fear of getting lost. Thanks
SOURCE: cannot find my map data anymore
Have you checked the wrench menu, map info, the preinstalled map should have a check mark, if not tap on the check box, it should now show a detailed map screen when you go back to the main menu and select show map.

This is because your map file has either been deleted or corrupted and needs to be replaced. Please see this link for more info. Too much info to copy & paste here:

who need to hook it up to the computer and download the maps back in to the Nuvi. Kinda reprograming if you will. the Garmins usually dont come with the usb cord to conect to the computer but you should be able to buy one. hook it up and download all the maps and you should be good to go. Oh by the way they have lots of cool fetures to download on the Garmin website cool cars and voices, although i prefere for mine not to talk. Good LUck
SOURCE: Well my Garmin nuvi 1300 was working fine
it sound like someone has "unticked" maps go to settings then maps and map info and look for the screen that says city navigator, and tick box that should work unless someone has attached to pc and wiped maps
SOURCE: My garmin 1300 says no
Your map file may be corrupt. You can go to the Garmin website where you registered your unit, and download the same map. If you want to update to a newer map you can do that as well. To ensure that you have the correct map you will have to register your unit if you haven't already done so. Go to the following link:
https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/customers/myGarminHome.faces
You will have to first make sure that your GPS is attached to your computer with the black USB cable that came with your unit. Plug the smaller end into the back of the unit and the larger end into one of your USB ports. The GPS will automatically power on. You will see a graphic on the bottom of your screen that looks like a GPS connected to a computer. A line will appear halfway up the screen which will start as a white line and then change to a green one. Once that is done you can register at the above site. The website will attempt to connect to your GPS so that it can read your model and serial numbers. It will then show you which maps are available for you.
My probleme:
When you want to select (established) a route (Finding Location or Planing a Trip) the device machine can not calculate route and displays the following message: "Route waypoint memory is full". The device is Garmin 3760T.
I found the solution:
1. Start the device.
2. Touch "Wiew Map or Map"
3. Touch on bottom right of screen (Speed)
4. Hold your finger on top center of screen for 5-10 seconds (the speed semicircle between Trip A and Trip B). The unit would go into "Diagnostic Page".
5. Select "Clear all user data" and confirm.
Warning: will erase all user-selected data (Home, Recently Found, Favorites, Trip Planner, ....).
