does it do every thing else just will not empty might be the pump either blocked or broken if there is water to a sertain point in the washer it wont spin it has to empty so far befor it spins off hope this helps ivan
if it doesnt go into spin brushes in main motor could b stuck or worn check also outlet tube and waste pipe not blocked if it goes into spin but doesnt empty check spin pump not jammed but most common fault brushes in main motorworn
Probably down to the water not emptying from the machine in the empty cycle and the machine won't spin because there's still water in the drum. If this is the case, the root of the problem is almost certainly a blocked filter, restricting the draining of the water and not allowing it all to pump out in time during the empty cycle. You probably need to find and clean your filter.
I just had the same problem. The washer would stop about 2/3 through the spin cycle and not start again. Replaced the timer. That did NOT solve the problem.
BAD LIDSWITCH OR THE SCREWS ON THE LEFT SIDE HINGE ARE LOOSE CAUSING THE LID TO BOW UP APPLY PRESSURE ON THE LID TO GET IT TO START SPINNING IF IT DOES TIGHTEN THE SCREWS ON THE HINGE IF IT DOESN'T THE LIDSWITCH NEEDS TO BE REPLACED
