On both screws, turn them in just until they seat, not tight. Back them out one full turn. Start the motor and let it run until it gets up to temperature. If it won't start or stay running, turn the L screw out another 1/2 turn. With the motor idling, turn the L screw in just until you hear the motor tone change then back it out until it smoothes out and keep going until the motor tone changes or starte running rough. Turn it back in half way between these two points. With a blade on the saw, hold the throttle at about 1/2 to 3/4 full and adjust the H screw using the same method.

SOURCE: Mikita DPC 6401 Demo saw carb is out of

Two screws are for fuel mixure settings and the third is for idle adjustment. The two fuel should be set at two complete turns out to start and then after warm adjust. The left hand one is your low and right one is your high. DO NOT turn in more then aleast 1 complete turn. If you do it will burn up your saw cuz you ran it to lean. Usually there are set around 1.5 and two turns each. The 3rd one will adjust your idle speed.

SOURCE: Ive got a Makita concrete

The manual says to mix it 100:1 if using Makita high performance oil or 50:1 using regular Makita 2 stroke oil. I'd go 50:1 with non Makita oil too.

Here is a site to download a pdf manual if you need it.

SOURCE: can I check my makita dpc 7311 coil with a meter

You can check the coil to see if it is open with a multi meter set for Ohms. However, If the insulation of the coil is breaking down your meter may not be sensitive enough to detect this failure. You would need a Z meter to Identify problems and the value of the coil. I believe it would be in you better interest to go to an auto parts store and buy a test plug which is no more than a spark plug with a ground clip on it. You can remove the plug wire on your saw and connect it to the test plug. When you try to start the saw you should visually see a spark from the test plug. If you do then your plug should ignite the fuel. If you do not then you will need to check the plug wire and the input to the coil.

why did they some how move on there own? sorry I'm not rude, but unless they have been tampered with there is no need to adjust them. If all else fails Walboro has a really good website, and so does Tillitson. Check out piston blow-by on the internet that may also help you. Good luck

Make sure that the blade is on correctly. If there is something stuck between the blade and the mount it will make everything off. Or if the but holding the blade on is not on tight enough you will have the same issue.
