My tv has a black screen

when I turn on my tv I get nothing there is no picture no sound, and the power light blinks.could you help solve my problem or let me know if it is a major problem

Definitely cheaper to fix. Must be a simple problem (for a Prof. Techie) It is either the Power Supply STR or Horizontal Output Transistor with FBT.

Should'nt be more than a couple of hundred bucks.
