After I enter my email address and password, I get the following message:
message: 'gExtContent' is undefined
description: 'gExtContent' is undifined
When I click "OK" I get a second message:
message: object required
description: object required
After I click "OK" I get a bland white screen with the word "Loading..." in the upper left corner. It stays that way for hours unless I close the web connection. I tried the solution offered by another client of FixYa, where I clicked on the Web Assistant and then clicked block ads on this page, but it was already set to do this, so it had no affect. I still don't know what to do.

Re: Cannot log into Yahoo Mail
Sounds like coding problem and error between you and your computer. I honestly don't even use Yahoo! my spyware program I use which is Windows OneCare detects the site yahoo.com spyware and the http://mail.yahoo.com Yahoo! Mail Website spam, a Tracking cookie which is not all gravy, I would recommend switching to something like MSN Hotmail http://www.hotmail.com it's much better anyway and you can use it in Microsoft Outlook or FREE Windows Live Mail at http://messenger.msn.com Thanks!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. goodluck!

I would make sure that you have caps off and then you know that you are spelling it the way it is then I would tap forgotten pass code and sign it name and then they will help you with changing it so you can get in. If that does not work yahoo and gmail are free and some times you can get juno free as well but I would set up another one and then take your new e-mail address and e-mail the one you are having problems with and then you can have them send you you info to your new e-mail address.
I would sign in and then once signed in then check your mail rather then having it tell you. or read a old message and then reply to it send a message and then it will give you your new messages after you send your out going mail.
If you are on Yahoo Mail Beta (where you have two boxes-you have your email subject lines in the top box and you actually read the email in the bottom box), switch back to Mail classic. You can click on the link at the top of the page where you go to sign in and out. It isn't near as convenient as the Beta, but it will get you back into your emails. I was locked out of them for 12 days and I finally got back in after switching back last night. Good luck to ya! Chris firstname.lastname@example.org
and from it select the form (click the page to get it), that is proper for your report.
Don't send any login information unless they ask for it (they will likely NOT ask for a password, but can ask you for your username).
This error information shows that their mail login processing scripts and possibly their database interface have been corrupted or coded incorrectly, and this is something that only they can fix, not you, the mailbox user. HTH
For a permanent solution, I enabled back ad blocking in IE7 Pro, accessed the Yahoo Mail account (got again the errors), and when I got the "Click here to try again" page, I used IE7Pro context menu to select "Ad Blocker / Don't filter this site".
this can also be caused when you have other ad blockers installed on your computer and also firewalls
It is pssible to get to your mail by changing your account to Yahoo Classic. To do this you will need to go to Yahoo's home page and click on the 'Mail' link. When the "Error" 1st message comes up click OK. When the 2nd messgae appears move the "Error" message over the "having trouble loggin on" message located in the top right of the of the screen. Locate the OK button over this message. Very quickly, and I mean rapid, click the OK button twice. You may need to do this several times to time it right - it took me three times, When Yahoo's solutions appear just click in the Classic option. I am now back in touch witth the world and although it hasn't resolved Yahoo's problem yoou will, at long last be in touch. I'm not claiming to be a problem solver, I found this in Yahoo's answers.
right-click the menu bar and check 'Web assistant'. the Web assistant should now be showing on the tool bar. click on it and uncheck 'Block ads on this site'. this works for me in yahoo mail and also solved a problem i was having with my website's webmail account (MailEnable WebMail).
if this solve your problem, please rate the answer
