A popup blocker is a program. You can get one from internet, mostly are free, and usually comes included in toolbars like Google. The program will block any attempt of pop up.

How to fix computer problems for free

First make certain you have a virus program running and do a full scan. There are free ones around, most use AVG. You can get pop-up blockers, or look at internet options and select block pop ups.

Visit the following website called Black Viper. Follow the instructions and that should speed up your computer.

How to download free download driver iriver iriver h10 5GB

go to: http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/233065/iriver-h10-5gb-6gb-mp3-player-firmware-2.51-ums-version-free-download.html

(Make sure your popup blocker is on, the site loves popups) Scroll down a bit and input the security code to get the file. Save it to your desktop and when it's done, choose to Run it and then install it. Make sure the device is UNPLUGGED when you install the driver. Hope this helps!

Cheers!

Computer running slow stuff keeps popping up

Your pc is infected. Go to -  http://www.avast.com/  - (antivirus) and -  http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html  - (antispyware) and Download (as in Save, not Run) the installers. Disconnect your pc from the internet (unplug the lan cable, shutdown the wireless or unplug the modem), close all your present (and clearly useless) security software and uninstall them,  launch the installers that you downloaded (Avast first - during install you will be offered the option to perform a boot scan - take it) and follow the instructions. Once the installs are over connect your pc to the internet and reboot once more. You will have to manually update Spybot (the link is on its main windows) before launching a full scan..

How do I install my Logitech webcam? My niece uses Yahoo Messenger, but when I tried to install it, my home page chanaged to Yahoo and numerous popups appear daily.

Hello,

Let me explain the procedure on how to install the Webcam.

Procedure is same for all Brand Webcams.

First disconnect the Webcam from the Computer. Insert the Webcam driver disks and follow onscreen steps to complete the installtion.

In between the installtion, it will ask you to connect the Webcam. There you have to connect the Webcam, then small installtion will run and Cam will be ready to use.

If it won't ask you to connect the Webcam, then after completing the installtion you can connect the cam.

Comming to the Home page and POPups issue.

While installing the Webcam driver by following the onscreen steps, somewhere there will be checks for "Set Yahoo as home page" or "Install yahoo or Google tool bar etc" you have to uncheck all those kind of things while installing the driver software.

Anyhow, I will also provide steps on how to change the Internet explorer home page and Block POPups.

Here are the steps to change the Home page of Internet Explorer:

1. Open Internete explorer.

2. Click on Tools Menu--Internet Options.

3. Under Homepage, Enter the Website you want to set as default and press Enter (Eg: www.google.com)

4. Click Apply--ok

To block the POPUPs:

1. Open Internete explorer.

2. Click on Tools Menu--Internet Options.

3. Click on Privacy Tab

4. Check box for BLOCK POPUPS

5. Click Apply--Ok.

Hope that helps you!!

Multi-popups

Hey, sounds like you have spyware or maybe a virus on the computer, i would suggest uninstall any antivirus software you currently have on the computer, and install a 30 day trial like this one.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Panda-Antivirus-Titanium.shtml

or goto www.pctools.com and download spyware doctor.

should solve the problem..

All the best

Trying to regester new purchase of 17" LCD monitor. Please help AG Neovo

Go to http://www.agneovo.com/global/support/services.htm# and click on Online Registration. A window will pop up, so if you have a popup blocker turned on, either disable it before going there, or click on the bar that appears just under the address line to temporarily allow popups. Then click on Online Registration again, and you should be able to complete the necessary info. Thanks for rating FixYa!

I get popups regeristry

Most popups saying you have a critical problem with the registry are related to malware being present on the system. These popups also usually recommend you buy a product to fix the registry. Do not buy the product they offer.

The malware that is infecting this system can be identified and removed with Geek Squad's advanced computer diagnostic and repair service over the internet. Just go to www.geeksquad.com and click the Geek 911 Emergency help now and then select the Click to chat button.

This keeps popping up on my computor screen "cannot find Macromedia Flash. I don't know what this is and I do not want it. Thank you . Please take this off if you can. www.signespokane@aol.com

Flash is a program that most sites have and need to run properly when browsing the internet....it is a free download and does not harm the compuer and does not take up that much space all things considered its worth the download.
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
it will not do anything to your computer, it will just allow what ever that popup is concerned about to run.
