We are getting dozens of pop-ups and can get rid of some of them

Popups are annoying messages or advertisements that literally "pop up" while you are on the Internet.
They use to be a huge problem, but with the releases of newer software to block them, they aren't as bad.
When a user is on the Internet, and a new window opens up without them meaning for it to, and there is an ad in the new window that popped up.
That is a popup. To get rid of popups, you're going to need some kind of popup software to stop them from appearing.

Search the Internet until you find a trustworthy Internet popup utility.
Be sure it comes from a reputable downloading source and has good reviews before you download it though.
There are scam softwares disguised as popup blockers, but these will actually add more popups.
Try the Google toolbar (there is a link in the Resources).
https://support.google.com/toolbar/answer/9230?hl=en&ref_topic=3338424
This service is made by Google and since they make a lot of internet advertisements, it makes sense that they know how to block them.
Just navigate to the install website and let it install.
The service is free and is automatic.
It will block most popups and includes a search bar linked straight to Google so you don't have to go to Google's website to search for things.
You can use that search bar.

Give the Yahoo toolbar as well (See link Below).
http://download.cnet.com/Yahoo-Toolbar-with-Anti-Spyware/3000-12512_4-10310984.html
Their toolbar is free and also has a popup blocker.
Like Google's toolbar, they offer a built in search engine in it.
Their's has a spyware searcher as well though. It can scan your computer for spyware which one of the causes of popups.

Download and try Smart Popup Blocker if you aren't satisfied with other services.
http://download.cnet.com/Smart-Popup-Blocker/3000-7786_4-10282837.html?tag=mncol
This doesn't add a toolbar to your web browser like Yahoo or Google.
Instead, it is software that runs in the background of your computer and blocks popups to the best of its ability.
It only works in Internet Explorer though.
You also might want to install antimalware and superantispyware

I am getting the [email protected].(2) and can't access my control panel and documents. Help!! Any advice!?

Hi tafite...

The wecare reminder is a free online donation tool.
You may have downloaded it along with a disk utility or some other freeware.
If you're getting a popup message, you're probably having issues.
Contact them at the email address and ask them what's up."
I will recommend that you run a scan on your computer for malware, virus, trojans.
That will get rid of this popup.
Please take time to rate me thumbs up

Run the FREE addition of Superantispyware first: http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html

Then use the one below

Use the FREE Microsoft Safety Scanner at this website, it will take a while to complete, depending on how large you hard drive is: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-ca/default.aspx

Why i diD n0T uSe thE fAcebook siTe????

Do you have any ad-Blockers? what is your firewall? any popup blockers?
you may need to allow the website through your firewall if its not windows firewall
if you have windows Firewall then an ad blocker/popup blocker is blocking it, allow www.facebook.com through that or turn off your ad blocker/popup blocker
Q: why would an ad blocker/popup blocker block Facebook?
A: Facebook contains elements that are often identified as ads or popups, Most of the content are popups/ads, and as such since the entirety of Facebook runs off popups/ads, that is blocked as a result of being identified as unsafe, do not be surprised, some websites are blocked like this that are actually safe and are otherwise known as False Positives in terms of spyware, viruses, Potentially unsafe websites, etc
Q: Is there a solution? A: Yes, uninstall your popup/ad blocker IF you havent bought actually bought it and download and install Peerblock: http://www.peerblock.com/
for your reference i have mine set to block: Anti-p2p Spyware Advertising
and if you use Google Chrome or something that uses Google Chrome Extensions, install this, it doesnt block Facebook, but blocks all ads and saves your download bandwidth, i cant recommend this extension highly enough :) : https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom?hl=en

I get popups regeristry

Most popups saying you have a critical problem with the registry are related to malware being present on the system. These popups also usually recommend you buy a product to fix the registry. Do not buy the product they offer.

The malware that is infecting this system can be identified and removed with Geek Squad's advanced computer diagnostic and repair service over the internet. Just go to www.geeksquad.com and click the Geek 911 Emergency help now and then select the Click to chat button.
