Question about Lasko 2535 Stand (Pedestal) Fan
Hubby cleaned fan, mis-wired something because now the controls are difficult to push to come on, and the fan doesn't come on, though there is power. Just hums. Lord!

The bearings on the motor are dry and need oil. It's really not made to be oiled, but you may be able to take it apart and get some oil to the bearings if you want to mess with it.

SOURCE: Lasko 2535
Lasko 52" tower fan, model 2535, works fine but has the annoying loud 3 second beeeep when turned on/off, waking us up at night. Have been unable to get at the circuit board to investigate due to non-std screws (regular slot head but with a bump in middle of slot, so slot is filled in in middle of screw head, if you will)
Any thoughts on killing the beeeeping?
