Had my truck worked on and they disconected the battery and wiped out my code on my Kenwood radio.
It is a kenwood 3022 CD player and all it keeps doing is asking me for a 4 diget code.
Help please Bob
Thanks But when I called Kenwood they told me that I would have to go to a Kenwood dealer and have him reset it and that is about 50 miles from where I live and coast $30 so may wind up getting a new radio. I had some other people give me codes but can not get any of them to work.
Thanks.

This has some common codes. If they don't work, the dealer will give you the code FOC based on the VIN Number. Also note that many Japanese stereo units in imported cars are made only for the home market and only show Japanese text, with no way to change to English.
The car radio code is indicated on many kenwood models on a small white sticker inside the glove box. The unlock code will be labeled "Anti-theft radio code".
this is the security setting that is pretty much on all kenwood head units. you could talk to kenwood about this and see if they can help. if you dont have the code you're stuffed
only the original owners manual for the cd player has it as it is meant to prevent a theif from using it of selling it you can down load a copy of the manual at www.kenwood.com from the instruction manuals page
