I found the solution on www.arboristsite.com Look under chain saws. The answer is there somewhere; but if you don't have time to sort thru all the postings you can start a new post there. There is always someone there to answer your questions.

Where to place fuel lines on a craftsman chainsaw model 358.352161?

The above link will take you to www.ereplacementparts.com
They sell all of the parts for your saw. There is also an exploded diagram. I am not sure if it will help you, but it may.

The other place I would try is YouTube. There are many videos on chainsaws.
I hope this helps and god luck with your saw.

Fuel lines on craftsman chain saw

go to the website and see if you can download a manual
most saws have 2 lines fuel in and a return
the fuel in line is the one that goes in the tank and has a filter on it
hold you finger over the fuel line on carb and pull cord, the one that sucks is your fuel in, the one that blows air out is your return

Hello I have craftsman 358356280 chain saw. I would like to know the fuel lines configuration for this model. I has two hols on the fuel tank one large and one small. This model does not have primer...

It is very unusual to have two hoses from the tank if there is no primer, the larger hose is normally the return to tank from the primer, there is no other reason to have two if it has no primer, the only other thing it can be is the fuel tank breather, which normally just goes to atmosphere.

Have a craftsman # 358.350880 saw will not accelerate and lacks power

Check the fuel filter, air filter, and muffler for plugging. Check the fuel lines for decay or other damage. Make sure the carburetor fasteners are tight. Check for proper chain oiling by running the saw at speed for several moments with the bar tip near some cardboard--it should throw off a thin line of oil. Hope this helps!

Diagram of fuel line for Craftsman 16" chainsaw

Your saw is a Poulan. Try converting the cc to a model number. A 2.2cc Craftsman is often a Poulan model 2200. go to this link and find something that appears the same under (POULAN-WEED-EATER).

The IPL will help. Pay attention to the year there is a different area for older saws.
For a current saw Craftsman should have something available.
