SOURCE: your assistance

The Sony part number for these diodes is 8-719-108-12 and yes they are 9.1 volt zener diodes @ 1 watt. I have the service manual for this set if you need it put can only send a large file like this trough a proggy called pand, so if you go to pando.com and get the proggy and leave youe e-mail addy I will send you a copy of this service manual. SOURCE: Mitsubishi cs40507 blown zener diode

It should be at the back cover, just where the model number is. If you have the TV open, it may also be found inside, maybe on or around the tuner area.

Equilent for a zener diode (RD 30ESB2)

Zener diodes are invariably used as low power voltage regulators or as a voltage reference for voltage regulating circuitry.

Zener diodes are sold by wattage and reference voltage by numerous component suppliers and constructor stores and in theory the voltage is marked on them, though difficult to see and easily defaced.

Finding an equivalent for what appears to be a manufacturer's part number presents a rather difficult challenge. The official service sheet will probably provide the required voltage. Without that information you will either have to purchase the component from the manufacturer under the part number or experiment until the required value is discovered.

Zd 3 diode value on boston acoustic soundware xs 5.1 subwoofer

Hello
Did you find the value of ZD3.
I need it too.
I have the same problem, and I take out the ZD3 and the subwoofer works. But I'm not sure that is correct. I think it may be the circuit stand by.

CRT CARD PROBLEM WHAT KIND OF DIODE ARE D204 D205 D206 AROUND EACH TDA6111Q?

probably just a "voltage-bucking" diode to keep the chip safe from surges, but if its a zener it should be marked ZD-204/ZD-205 etc.

DIODE PART NUMBER 907 ON POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT HAS HOW MANY VOLTAGES

That diode part number is not recognizable. IT IS possible that the full number is 1s1907.which is a 400PIV diode.

If the diode is about 3/8 inch long and 1/8 diameter replace with a 1N4007 which should have adequate voltage margin if it is a rectifier diode.

One has to be careful as the original could also be a Zener regulator. The board nomenclature for that would likely have "ZD" followed by a number. Verify the diode is used as a rectifier type by tracing the circuit enough.

Burnt Zener diode... Voltage spec??

On the cathode of the zener diode look for a filter cap and check its value the voltage of the zener should be less than the working voltage of the zener. Basicly its likely being used as a shunt regulator as protection and regulation of the voltage. When the zener hits a certain threshold it will breakdown and start conducting to ground until the supply regulates and then it will recover. If the filter cap for that voltage rail was 25V I would guess that the zener would probably be regulating between 12 and 20 volts. I'd pick a 15V Zener its probably +- %10 on the original and any system should be able to take a %10 tolerance as a general design rule.

UNKNOWN VALUE OF VOLTAGE ZENER DIODES

I was not able to find any service or schematic for this model. The colors means that the value is 22.6 volts zener diode with the other blue band indicating where the cathode is.
Could you tell me where or what other components this zener diode is connected to?
