Question about Bosch 24 in. SHY56A05 Stainless Steel Built-In Dishwasher
Hi, I have a BOSCH SHY56A05UC/14 DISHWASHER and when I push the ON/OFF button the LED screen does not light up. Breaker Box and Fuse is good and has been tested. This issue happens 4 times out of 5 because the LED lights up once in awhile. So when the LED finally lights up the dishwasher works absolutely perfectly like there was no problem at all. I am clueless why it's not working all the time. I appreciate any help on that problem. Thanks.

No don't hose it out. That will only make things worse. There are a good number of reasons why it may be blowing the breaker. You will need to meter out the different parts to check for a short. My guess from you description is that the softner unit has broken / leaked and gone into the main pump. You will need to replace both if thats the case.

both have a wax motor on them that needs to be replaced you just remove the panel and replace the wax motor is what its called

if the door doesn't shut, the push buttons should not work. that way you are not running your d/w with the door open. check the door latch, as it seems to be malfunctioning. if the d/w still does not work, replace the door latch.

SOURCE: Our Bosch dishwasher will not
can you hear humming?try taking out the screen filter and there is a torx screw that you can see, remove the screw and see if there is anything in there when you remove the panel.you will see the drain impeller try turning it by hand. if it is siezed then you will have to replace it.try putting it back together and try it again.
let me know.

first thing to say is that whether it may be an short circuit between circuits,,or due to an over voltage the fuse may be burnt,,please check the control panel..back of dishwasher,,,
if u checked fuse and circuit,,and think no problem with incoming voltage ,,the control panel's capacitors or resistors may be burnt..
if so please go to a tech,,,,,
thank u,,,for using fixya
