SOURCE: Amp goes into protect mode.

I would definately suspect wiring. If you can use a volt meter. Put it on the b+ to ground and see what the reading is should be 12+ then try the ground to remote wire should be 12+. If it drops below 12 volts when car starts. Recheck wires for loose connection. Also double check the wire you have the remote wire connected to. You might even want to disconnect from the amplifier and use a jumper wire from the positive terminal on the amp to remote on the amplifier and see if it stays on then. If it stays on you will have to find the loose connection or find a different wire to get remote power.

SOURCE: amp blowing fuses

The amplifier probably has shorted output transistors.

Disconnect the speakers and RCA cables. Replace the fuses with two 10 amp fuses or a single 20 amp fuse. If the amp blows the fuse when it powers up, the outputs are almost certainly the problem. Don't try it with the two 30 amp fuses. The smaller fuses will provide more protection for the power supply. If the amp powers up with the smaller fuses and they don't blow, check the speakers and the wiring (for shorts to ground or shorts between wires).

SOURCE: kicker zx750.1 protection mode

Ok a few things to check here. So get a checklist lol.

Is the amp well ventilated?
When it goes into protetion mode is the amp HOT? like too hot to touch?
Do you have the GAIN maxed out? Turn it down
What are the gauges of your ground/power cables?
A bad speaker or speaker wire can cause this also.
Incorrect wiring of speakers like 4ohm speakers wired in parallel connected to bridge.
Inadequate alternator or battery in car
Does your system have a Capacitor? If not get a nice digital CAP they aren't too expensive.

Directed d2400 turning onnot going on protected mode but sound on the output.needs resetting?

Just turn it on normally then after you verified that the green power light is on. And the protect light is on as well just one by one remove the fuses and then wait one minute not doing anything and just re install the fuses one by one and when the blue directed light reactivates (THE BLUE LIGHT ON TOP OF THE AMP COVER) you are good to go. Sometimes just removeing the amp trigger wire and reinstalling it will do the same thing. hope this helps. i do this on mine every now and again. Just wish i new what caused it to do it in the first place, this is just my solution to get it working again.

Memphis 1500d amp

The flashing indicates that the amplifier is in 'protect' mode, which is often a sign of a ground fault, but may also indicate that one or more of your power and/or signal wires is crossed, connected incorrectly, or shorting out for some other reason.
In short: Go through all your wiring and check it thoroughly. Be patient, take your time, and I can almost guarantee you'll find the problem in a loose wire or perhaps your ground wire isn't connected to a part of the chassis that is fully grounded.
Unfortunately the Memphis 1500D is a discontinued model, so installation instructions for it are not readily available... however, the SPL 1500D is a very similar product and the wiring should be identical, so for your reference here is the installation manual for that unit:

Hope that helps, good luck!

My 1500d directed blow fuses as soon as you turn it on the red protection light keep flickering same as the green

It is for sure that you have a short in the amplifier and so will need to open the set to identify before the power is switched on. So first of all use a good multimeter to check for short in the output drivers. Disconnect the power line to the drivers and see if the set triggers on. If not trace it to the circuit near the power supply which makes the fuse blow. It can be easily found out by checking for the short or the voltage drop when powered. I hope you could try. Good day

Amp keeps blowin the two 30amp fuses on the amp.

Make sure that the speaker wires are wired correct at both the amp and the speakers......otherwise it sounds like the typical death of a power acoustik amp (great amps, but prone to a premature death)

No power to tv

The power management and protection circuits have taken over. There is something taking too much current and the protection system has shut the system OFF to prevent further damage ...............if you are familiar with tv service you can check the main fuse that should be close to where the power cord comes in,if you find the fuse blown it needs to be replaced with an exact replacement for AMPS rating and VOLTS rating as well as size,if the fuse is blown black we might have more problems ahead in the circuit and it will blow up again as soon as you plug the tv back in,if it blows again it will need a more involved repair, the problem could be in the primary side of the power supply.......Check horizontal output transistor.............
