SOURCE: Front Loader Frigidaire will not drain model no. LTF530FSO

check to make sure all hoses are not clogged - our washer hose before the pump was clogged due to washing a rug that had deteriorating rubber backing - would not drain until I flushed out the hose that goes from the tub t the pump.

SOURCE: Frigidaire front load washer won't drain or spin

This often is a drain hose that is too low or a drain hose that has been pushed too far down inside the stand pipe....the water is actually siphoning out of the washer. Do not "seal" the drain hose to the house plumbing pipe, this will also allow the water to be siphoned out.

Frigidaire Affinity front load washer will agatate spin but will not spin dry the clothes. water pump does engage and does put water out of machine occasionally will get an E10 error but not all the time....

The error code chart indicates that this could be a water flow problem, too low of a drain hose height or an over-sudsing problem. Start new cycle on a cold cold setting if applicable. See if cold water comes in. Make sure your drain hose is higher than the top of the machine. When looking inside the glass door....do you see lots of suds?

Door lock won`t engage

Hi - I understand that the door won't engaged, however does it show any other symptoms? Try to start a drain spin cycle and let the unit run for approximately 5-7 minutes and press cancel once. If the door opens immediately, unit made have a bad door lock. If you have to wait for the door to release to open, then possibly you have a control or wiring issue.

Keeps flashing EFO during the last two minutes of wash cycle

Frigidaire, Zanussi, AEG, & More....

EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.

1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out.
2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.

Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle.
You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.

Run an empty load with no detergent in an attempt to get rid of the code.

Frigidaire GLTF2940FS...does not do a final spin/clothes wet

If water remains in the drum the unit will not go into the final spin. There may be a couple of reasons for your problem.
1.) A coin or other foreign object is blocking the drain hose. Check the drain hose for foreign objects impeding the exit of the water.
2.) The Drain hose is not raised above the machine outlet to create a siphon effect. See your manual for proper hose positioning.
3.) The pump is a third possibility which you should hear the impeller spinning during the drain cycle. There is a coin catch after the diaphragm of the pump that looks like a rubber boot that should be inspected for objects if you remove the pump. I believe the pump is about $60.00 and is accessible after removing the front panel under the door.

Front load washer ~ 1 year old started making noise during the draining cycle

Access the drain pump and clean out whatever is in there. Front load machines need the drain pump cleaned on a regular basis.

You have to look for screws below the front kick-panel, you can raise the machine a bit to gain access to the screws, the panel comes down & out. You may find a drain hose here, on left, drain off the excess water. The pump is on the right side. Be prepared for dirty water. Inside the big flexible tube (coming from the tub bottom) is the filter, be prepared to find all sorts of junk here, clean out. You can pass it into a large plastic bag. Examine your pump also, clean out the impeller. Carefully refit all. Your machine would be fine. Don’t wait for the machine to jam to look into your filter.

When the machine drains can you hear the water going into the drain? I thinking your pump is not pumping from debris or the drain hose to far in the drain. The kick panel below the door has three screws 1/4 or Torx T20. There is a clean out left side of the pump, the large screw handle removes and does have some water behind it so wrap a trash bag around the clean out before opening.
