Question about iLO DVDR05 DVD Recorder
Http://www.retrevo.com/support/CyberHome-DVR-1600MU-DVD-Players-manual/id/534ci862/t/2/e this is as close as I have found. Different brand names but basically the same. If you are copying home movies use the av outputs from the vcr to the av inputs of the vcr, then the av outputs of the ILO to the tv - while recording from your tapes. I read somewhere if it is macrovision protected you can bypass it by using the coax out from your vcr to the Antenna in on the ILO and then pick up that signal in your TUNER of the ILO. I have had good success with both, I prefer the av if I can get that to work, better picture, but sometimes it won't record that way, esp old tapes, so try the ant in (coax) if the av doesn't work. Use + R discs or +RW discs (sony brand is the best +R but it doesn't matter on the +RW's)
