Question about HP LaserJet 3390 All-in-One Multifunction Printer
I have a LaserJet 3390. Front panel displays message "No Paper Pickup Press [check]" (the enter key). the " ! " light is also flashing yellow. When pressed it just recycles to same message. Pressing the "Cancel" button or restarting the printer does nothing as it returns to this point. The paper path is clear, and the paper tray has plenty of paper. Even tried to very the ampnt of paper in tray with no results. Anyone got any suggestions????

The tray two pickup roller is a roller in the front of the tray. Remove tray 2 and place it on a level work surface. Locate and open the cover that is
next to the roller in tray 2.
Pinch the blue latch that is on the left side of the roller. Slide the roller off of the shaft.
Then you can slide the new roller back in.
CAUTION When you install this roller, make sure that it locks into place. Verify that the
roller is correctly oriented, and that the round, black spacer next to the roller is correctly
positioned against the locking pin on the shaft.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

1.Make sure the guides on the back of the tray is set properly as well
and the pages have not slid back further then they should. Say if you
are using letter. Make sure the tray guide are exactly on letter.
2.Often the paper pick up roller gets paper dust on it, and it gets slippery.
Only clean it with a relatively lint free, cotton cloth, dampened with plain water. Any other cleaners can dry out the rubber, and shorten the life on the roller.
3. If you notice the blue pickup roller on the bottom of the tray is getting worn it needs to be replaced. Some times you can get a few thousand more pages out of it by swapping it with the other one that is up in the printer. If find it wears more slowly.
You can remove them by pressing on the release tab sticking out the front of the roller. Take out the tray and you will see another one up in the top where the tray came out.

Try to perform the following steps in the mentioned order:
1. Verify that the media was inserted far enough into the input tray. In tray 2 (HP LaserJet 3390/3392 all-in-one), verify that the paper-length guide is in the correct position for the media size that you are using.
2. Reload the media in the input tray and press to continue the job.
