your windows allows you to check resolution for a particular screen, right click on desktop, settings or resolution incase of windows 8,
check appropriate resolution and try whichever suits best to your eyes. :)
For best picture, you need to set your PC video resolution to 1280x1024, 60Hz
Right click on desk top to bring up the display properties, select Setting tab to set the resolution, make sure you do have correct video card driver installed in your PC otherwise you may not be able to set the resolution you want.
Hi, I had a similar problem with my monitor.. I installed the nVidia graphics package from the Package Manager and then upped the resolution . You'll have to make sure you know if your graphics card is nvidia or ati, though..
make sure you have the correct drivers installed by going to device manager in control panel..... if you have then you'll need a better graphics card as yours is prob onboard using system memory with a limited output in resolution
