space.gif answer.gif Before you can use your headset, you must pair (bond) it with your phone. Below are general Motorola headset pairing instructions to a mobile phone:
Step A. Start Bluetooth on your phone.
Note: These steps are for most Motorola phones. See your phone's user guide for more details.

  1. Press Menu (Center Select Key).
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Connection.
  4. Scroll to and select Bluetooth Link.
  5. Scroll to and select Setup.
  6. Scroll to and select Power
  7. Press Change.
  8. Scroll to and select On.
Step B. Ensure headset is in pairing mode.
Power on the headset. The indicator light flashes to initiate easy pairing. After a few moments, the indicator light will be steadily lit in blue to indicate headset is in pairing mode.
Step C. Set your phone to find your headset.
Note: These steps are for most Motorola phones. See your phone's user's guide for more details.
  1. Press Menu (Center Select Key).
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Connection.
  4. Scroll to and select Bluetooth Link.
  5. Scroll to and select Look for Devices. The phone lists Bluetooth devices it finds.
  6. Scroll to and select Motorola [Device Name].
  7. Select OK or Yes to pair your headset with your phone.
  8. Enter the passkey: 0000
  9. Select OK. When your headset successfully pairs with your phone, the indicator light changes from steadily lit to flashing blue.
If lost connection or stopped pairing delete blue tooth item and reinstall as above

SOURCE: trying to pair motorola n136 with my sprint rumors phone

Found this when trying to pair mine:

I had the same problem - what I thought was the unit number was not - it is actually HS850. Instruction manual is here:
http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/manuals/...
Basically, hold down the call button until it lights up (steady -not blinking), open the boom, and search for devices in your phone. When it finds it, the passkey is 0000.

Is there a firmware update for the Motorola T325? I can only use for 1 call, then it goes mute. It won't work again untill I turn off then back on the bluetooth in my phone

I'm having that exact same issue, with my Samsung flip phone. Works perfectly for one call, but have to turn it off, and back on again to work again.

Just curious if you have a Samsung too?

I did try it with another non-Samsung phone, and it worked like a charm, without issue...so I have to assume it's my phone?

I am trying to pair my I phone to a motorola T215 bluetooth device,I do not have the instructions, therefore I do not know where the pin number is located on the device. Please hel Rendella

Bluetooth headsets have their passkey (or PIN or pairing code) hardcoded by their manufacturers. The most commonly chosen codes by them is '0000' (four zeros), which happens to be your case. Anyway, feel free to download your headset's Quick Start Guide from this location, where you will find more detailed informations about the pairing process.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
