The plugs or anything you mentioned are ok and plugged in the right way.
I think that the potentiometer from the cabled remotecontrole is defective.
In the early 70 and 80's there was a spraycan whit a kind of grafite that you spray in the potentiometer to make a better contact.
So i think the to replace the potentiometer, but i don't lnow where to buy it.
I hoped that someone on this forum know where i can purchase that potentiometer.

The speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
or you might have to clean the dust from your computer dust causes static which causes your computer to overheat and all sorts of problems
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your SOUND CARD dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
hope this helps

My volume control knob cracks when I turn it up or down. How do I fix the cracking sound?

You did not post the make and mode but if this is an older audio system then the volume control is a film deposited variable resistor. They get dirty and need to be cleaned. You can get contact cleaner or wd-40 and spray the control to clean it. NOTE that you cannot spray it from the front, you must disassemble it enough to get to the point you can spray into the actual part from the back and possibly under it.

The volume of the sound source (Mac) must be sufficient, otherwise the transmitter automatically turns off. Turn up the volume on the Mac, and turn down the volume on the headphones. There is no way to disable the Automatic On/Off function of the transmitter.

Behringer B215A replaced volume level knob does not respond.

You DON'T replace the board. If it is cracked, you bridge insulated wires around the cracks and epoxy them down.

Often the pads break from the traces near the pots. Look for a small crack between the pad of the pot and the circuit trace leaving it. Common problem.

Samsung TV - have sound/auto volume set to on. When TV is turned off and then on, tv volume is extremely low. Go back to sound menu, it shows "on" but if you go back and act like you are turning in on, the...

Hello Blindrid,
What I would suggest you do is Press your MENU button on the tv remote, Then down to SOUND and then Turn the AUTO VOLUME to OFF. Then come out of the menu screen.
Just to check that it has all work correctly. turn you volume upto a certain number for example 25
Then turn your TV off the turn it back on. Wait until it is displaying a picture then press the volume button Once either up or down and you should see that it will go to 24 or 26 depending on what button you pressed for the volume. This will keep your volume set to whatever you had it on before you turned the tv off.

Hope this Helps Please leave a thumbs up.

Cheers

No sound

the DVDS151 has its own built in volume control that is easy to hit the buttons near the bottom of the remote and accidently turn the volume down.
even tho your tv volume is set high it won't pass the sound to the tv if it is on mute or turned down.
