I fixed a JXT 8030 ADS that had the same problem. The lights are driven by a Triac located on a circuit board (SV158D) placed inside a plastic box (ref: AP4052900). This is not the '''control board'' with the switches. In my case the Triac was bad. To fix this you need minimum skills in domestic electricity and electronics mostly for desoldering, testing the triac and resoldering the original or soldering a new identical Triac in place. Also, you will have to secure the heat sink to the new triac and don't forget the thermal paste. The Triac will cost you about 2$. Enclosed is a few pictures, the triac is right beside the wiring that runs to the lights. Good Luck and be safety wise if you attempt this fix. Michel.

Your control panel is getting ready to quit. Mine did the same thing, I ignored it and now nothing on the touch panel works. About $150.00 for the part.

If your display has gone dimmer and dimmer or just gone out it is probably the display board. There are a few capacitors on the back of the board. There is one that is 68 Microfarad 35 Volts. It is common for this one to go bad. I replace it with a 68 Microfarad 50 Volt rated one and that usually solves the problem.
