Why is my fridgidaire top loading washer so loud?

You didn't say when it was making the loud noise. During the wash cycle or spin cycle? An unbalanced washer will make a loud racket, too many clothes or actually not enough will make the basket bang around in there. If it has a center agitator, make sure it is tightened down. The screw is under the center Fabric Softener cup. That's the easy stuff to check. Now on mine, when you take the front panel off, I noticed that the hooks and springs that hold the basket up & in place and help keep it balanced, had actually over time had worn the round holes in the metal construction of the machine to oblong holes. Not much you can do about that. If the noise is coming from the motor, & you can't find a used cheap one, it would be more cost efficient to just use as long as you can and buy another machine. A loud noise could also be caused by a bad pulley. Hope this helps.

I have a 2005 ford focus hatchback.manual started sounding loud when i started to accelerate like a loud exhust had it checked said the cat was going out so they replaced the cat and manifold and...

You did not mention the muffler which is the most important one for keeping the noise down. The cat, converter's primary function is pollution control, not noise and if you had a bad manifold you would have a racket even when you were idling. Was the muffler changed ? If not then that was probably the problem in the first place.

Loud buzzing noise during operation

Same thing happened to me today with our Kenmore 66515862990.

Probably there's something stuck in the drainage pump - in our case a tiny plastic domino was causing a heck of a racket.
On our model we needed a star type driver and a nutspinner driver to dismantle the unit, and a wetvac was essential to get out the water and offending blocking item(s). There's an exploded view of the water pump at - see here - they have otrher diagrams. I had to dismantle down to part 25 in the diagram to get at the offending article. There are two white plastic balls i the assembly - these are NOT junk and they need to go back there when you are done. Take care not to damage the part number 40 or you'll get a leak when you are done. Hope this works for you!

Car noise: loud grinding/pinging. Louder when accelerating up to 40mph. Not as bad when idling/over 40mph

Could be anything from a bad knock sensor to an internal engine problem. Try a stethoscope test if you can duplicate this racket while in park.....accordianman

Hotpoint condenser dryer making loud continuous noise whilst spinning

Pull the front panel off and check the roller wheels that the drum rides on. These have bearings in them that will eventually go bad and start to make a racket. They can be easily replaced and are usually sold at appliance parts stores in pairs.

Odd loud fan type noise

what you are describing is the cooling fan. That fan will come on to keep the electronic control panel cool. It is normal for tat to come on even if your done with the oven. I dont think is should be as loud as you describe. I would try the oven again and if it is still loud I would call for service because it is new. That fan will also come on when you use the self clean cycle.
