Question about Olympus Stylus 7030 Digital Camera
I cannot get the flash to work at all. When I attempt to take a picture that would need the flash, even when the camera is set for the flash to operate for every picture, a small orange flashing lightning icon appears on the right side of the screen with a small flashing box in the middle of the screen. Occasionally there will be an audible beep. However, the flash will not operate. When taking shots outdoors in available light, the camera works fine.
It could be circuit, capacitor or the flash tube itself? Digital cameras are so cheap now that buy a new one is a good choice.

SOURCE: outdoor shots are blue
What I believe is going on is your white balance setting has been set to incandescent light which on your camera is a light bulb. For outdoor shots you should have the camera set to auto white balance, or have the white balance symbol set to the sun icon or the cloud icon depending on the conditions outside. I hope this helps!

Check your manual to make sure that a setting has not been over looked.
It seems as if the light meter has gone out. This will require contacting Olympus' Service and Repair.
You should also check that you are not covering a 'window' with a finger when taking shots- thus blocking the light thus making it read low light.
If all this is to no avail - check out the Olympus technical help team.

SOURCE: Can I view pictures that
Most cameras will not be able to read pictures put on a card by a computer because of the different operating system....in fact, some cameras may even become corrupted by trying such a process. Are you sure you want to take the chance?
