I am having issues with DriveScrubber 3. The scrub has been completed and now it goes to the following prompt C:\DSCRUB waiting for a prompt which no one seems to be able to answer. Getting tech support from Iolo is useless. Can anyone help me get back to the desktop so I can uninstall this program????

That would need the .exe or .msi at the end of C:\DScrub

open computer un plug hard drive disconnect power then press the power button drain all power then re connect hard drive then try again

if still may need windows repairing with the xp or vista disc

The ethernet card on the Dell Optiplex 320 is integrated into the motherboard and can not be physically removed. However, a new ethernet card could still be installed into one of the available PCI slots and can be purchased at just about any computer parts retailer.

Before you jump to replacing the card I would recommend trying a few things yourself to fix the card. Here are some suggestions:
One thing to try is disabling and then re-enabling the device through the device manager.
Another thing to try, go to the command prompt where you did the ipconfig, and type
IPCONFIG /release
then type

Those two commands have fixed many "dead" ethernet cards.
If those commands don't work and fix your problem I recommend giving this utility a try:
WinSock XP Fix
Does the computer recognize that there is an ethernet card in the system? Have you had any viruses or spyware/malware on the machine recently?

ou can save up to 8 phone numbers in your speed dial book. The speed dial keys go from 2 to 9. When you place a call, our system prompts you to "enter the phone number you wish to dial". You just press the appropriate speed dial key followed by the pound sign (#) and your call goes through. No long numbers to enter any more!

If you set a speed dial for our access number on your phone machine, you have to press three keys only to complete a dial - as easy as "1-2#"! That's it!

For example, you can set your parents' phone number as speed dial key 2 and your friend's number as key 3. After dialing the access number from your phone, you will press 2 then # to reach your parents, or press 3# to reach your friend. Nothing could be easier!
Speed Dial set up Instructions:

1. Insert CD 1 into your CD/DVD drive.

    Follow the below mentioned steps to resolve the issue : 1. Ensure the Pixma is turned on by pressing the "On/Off" button, you will notice the display prompt you for E3 (error 3).
    2. Press and hold the "On/Off" button for one second. The display will now go blank and begin resetting the malfunction.
    3. Wait 10 to 15 seconds and restore power to the unit by pressing the "On/Off" button once more.
    4. Allow the unit to complete its cycling process and the error code should be gone. If the code persists, your printer will need professional maintenance.

    When I restart with the boot disk I made (or the intstallation disk) the computer starts up normally. I am not being prompted to scrub it. Help!

    you need to change the boot order of the computer to boot from cd instead of hard drive.

    When you first start up the computer you should see a message to press to enter setup the most common keys are:
    • Delete
    • F1
    • F2
    • F3
    • F5
    • F10
    • Escape
    • Insert
    • Control + Escape
    • Alt + Escape
    • Control + Alt + Escape
    • Control + Alt + Enter
    Once you've entered setup you should be able to find a selection something to the effect of boot order chage the fist boot selection or primary boot device to the CD rom so that the computer will boot from the boot disk instead of the hard drive

    1. the software you are using is not compatible with your operating system and is looking for a disk drive.
    If you have a recent operating system then this software will not work.
    It needs to see a floppy drive.

    Can not pair with my new Blackberry storm - Help???

    Make sure the BlueAnt Supertooth 3 is turned OFF.
    1. Press+Hold the Volume Up button and then also press the green button to reset the unit.
    2. After completing the above reset, turn the ST3 OFF again and wait at least 10 seconds.
    3. Turn unit back ON and select language when prompted.
    4. Follow the voice prompts and pair the ST3 with your blackberry as normal.
    5. After pairing has completed you will hear the ST3 announce “loading phonebook – please wait”.
    When your blackberry ask your permission to allow bluetooth to connect and donload phonebook allow it permanently.

    Run the PSA Diagnostics and Obtain the PSA Error Code

    To run the PSA diagnostics and obtain the PSA error code, perform the following steps:
    Shutdown the computer.

    Press and hold the <Fn> key, then press and release the power button.
    Release the <Fn> key when the lock lights above the keyboard begin to flash or Diagnostic boot selected is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.

    Release the <Fn> key.
    The PSA diagnostics sequence begins.
    After approximately 2 minutes the system produces a number of alert tones.
    After the alert tones, the system produces either a series of low beeps or error codes.

    PSA diagnostics will prompt for input during some tests. The resulting error message does not necessarily indicate hardware failure.
    For example, input is required during the color bar test. Failure to input a response will eventually result in a timeout error: 1000-0333 Graphics test timed out waiting for keyboard response. This does not indicate a graphics failure has occurred.

    Note the sequence of beeps or error codes.

    Initialize LCD BIST Diagnostics

    You can initialize the LCD Built-in Self Test (BIST) in two ways, depending on the revision of Pre-boot System Assessment (PSA) diagnostics:
    PSA versions 3019 and greater run LCD BIST immediately after failing the color bar test, via user input of <N> or waiting for it to time out prior to generating the 3-3-3 or 3-3-4 error. PSA version 3019 became available in November 2005 on various Dell laptops. The PSA version is upgraded with the BIOS.

    With older versions of PSA diagnostics prior to November 2005, LCD BIST runs after responding with a <Y> after receiving a 3-3-3 or 3-3-4 error code.
    To initiate the LCD BIST on PSA versions 3019 and greater:
    Boot to the PSA Diagnostics.
    Watch the screen and listen for the color bar test prompt tones emitted by the PSA Diagnostics. If the screen is visible, one will see the PSA diagnostics draw a series of multi-colored bars across the screen. When completed, a prompt asking if the pattern was seen appears, accompanied by a brief series of tones.
    Press <N> or wait approximately 30 seconds to fail the color bar test.
    Watch for the LCD BIST color generation and listen for the beeps every 2 seconds that indicate LCD BIST is running.
    LCD BIST runs for approximately 20 seconds, then stops. The 3-3-3 or 3-3-4 error code is then displayed when the LCD BIST is complete. If LCD BIST does not initialize, then the system may not have been upgraded to PSA version 3019.
    To initiate LCD BIST on systems with PSA versions prior to 3019:
    Boot to the PSA Diagnostics.
    Watch the screen and listen for the color bar test prompt tones emitted by the PSA Diagnostics.
    Press <N> or wait approximately 30 seconds to fail the color bar test.
    The system emits a 3-3-3 or 3-3-4 PSA error after failing the color bar test. Wait for two iterations of the failure code and then press <Y>.
    On a working LCD, the PSA diagnostics shows the following message:
    Error Detected, continue testing? Yes or No or Retry.

    Watch for the BIST color generation and listen for the single beeps that indicate LCD BIST is running.
    Patterns of flashing color should appear on the screen. With every color change, an audible beep is heard. If the patterns of color do not appear, and the beeps are audible, an LCD failure may be the issue. If the patterns of color appear, a video card or motherboard failure may be the issue.
