SOURCE: 6 CD Changer Stuck (Lexus LX 470)

Open the eject door and at the lower right side of the cartridge their should be a small indent that looks like you could poke it with a medium point pen. That's a reset for the changer. If that does not work, you will need to remove the changer from the car, pull off the top, plug the cable back in and hit eject. look for the arm on the backside of the cartridge and give it a nudge. It may just be stuck. Loading mechanisms usually do not fail before the optics or other!. If you need further help, post a comment with any model #'s on the changer and I'll look for info and help some more. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: ford factory in dash 6 disc changer/radio

I have had the same problem with my Ford CD player, if you unhook the battery and let the entire system reset itself for approximately 10 min. or so and then rehook the battery and the CD that is stuck will either come out automatically or when you push eject. If you have not let the system off the battery long enough it does not work. Trust me I have had to do this more times than I can count.

SOURCE: ford edge 6 disk cd changer cd error will not

According to the tow truck that just came to pick up my Edge, the cd player killed the battery. He jumped it, turned the radio on and said to let the car run for at least 20 minutes. He says that if you leave the radio ON when you turn the car OFF, it should correct itself. Good luck.

gamma sounds like a vw radio, the lead sould look like a flat plug about 3cm long, this will only work with a vw cd changer but you can buy sony changers with an adaptor.

I have a 6 disk changer and a single disk on my

you can try looking for a reset button on either or both items. the button would only be the size of a pin. you could use the tip of a pencil to reset. if you don't find this button, try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes to reset the system. my guess is that outside of that, you have a more serios problem. next step - unplug the changer from behind the radio and see if you still have the same problem with just the radio. and if you are behind the radio to unplug the changer, unplug the radio and plug it back in, especially if you couldn't find a reset button.
