Question about Dell Vostro 1400 Intel Core 2 Duo T5270 80GB/1000MB PC Notebook
If your Vostro came with windows XP there's no way of restoring it to default settings. you can just manually reinstall XP. if it came with Vista. you can restore it by going to winRE. restart your computer. tap F8 repeatedly when you see the dell logo. select repair my computer. select keyboard layout (just press next). select your username and type your password if you have one. select Dell factory image restore and follow the prompt.
