Please unplug your tv for 20 second and plug back in before checking your screen. If the problem still exists, please use your remote to check that you're displaying the correct hdmi input that you've plugged into the back of your tv (ie hdmi 1, 2, 3 etc). If you're not displaying the correct input, then your tv won't show what you want to watch.
Make sure its an original Osram or Philips bulb inside the housing. If its a cheap lamp it will act this way. If it is an original lamp, then you may have a power supply issue. It shouldn't affect your TV but you may want to try resetting the lamp timer by following the instructions that came with the lamp.

While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the number 0 button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
Hello,
the error light sequence that you are seeing is indicating a "backlight error". Most likely you have a bad inverter board -the board that powers up the back-lights behind the display panel. They might be available via ebay if you are a DIYer, or you need to call for sony service.
Good Luck!

My Westinghouse LCD tv has the same lights on it It goes orange or red when there is no signal from that source... or while it is calibrating itself to the new frequency etc.
Check the capacitors and replace the power components. It is an easy fix if handy with soldering electronics. Tv Repairman may charge less than $100.00 bucks to fix it ! Good luck
red light is on, but when the tv is turned on, it immediately shut down and goes back to the red light setting. It is like it blows a fuse or something to that effect.Post Solution
WHEN I TURN ON MY TV THE LED IS RED THEN GREEN AND GOES BACK TO RED AND NO IMAGE. WHAT COULD IT BE, i ALSO DID A HARD RESET BY REMOVING THE WIRES AS THE TECH HAD SAID AND NOTHING.
This is a monitor with no tuner. It was on 24/7.
