A firmware update for your models addresses the issue where the printer is having trouble printing out any colors. Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark S400 Series Firmware Update. If more than one download is listed for your model, choose the first
download in the list. If it is the wrong firmware level, an error message will
tell you which firmware level is correct.
After successfully updating your printer, run the Deep Clean Printhead function on your printer. From the printer operator panel, press the Setup button > Maintenance > Deep Clean Printhead.
Then try printing a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
If that doesn't help, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

There are sensors in the document feeder that detect the width and length of the paper being copied or faxed. Try getting a can of compressed air and go nuts blowing all the dust out of the feeder, if you spray everything you can get to, you will probably blow clean the sensors. Just an educated guess.

Assuming "cable modem" as some kind of DSL modem using your phone line for internet. Both your modem and MFU should be connected to the wall by a filter-separator, usually supplied with your DSL modem. Check its presens and proper connection. Remove any other joints or splitters

go to control pannle, open hardware and sound ,then open device and printer,open your related printer and modify settings
