SOURCE: Tricity Bendix SIE504W oven overheating

I have had a similar problem in that the top oven was overheating getting hotter and hotter and have just got a replacement thermostat from Partmaster.co.uk. This is to fit a Tricity Bendix from Currys model number DSIE520 GR. The new one seems just like yours in that it has three lettered connectors A,B and C. With the part came a sheet stating that for a free standing appliance with NO timer (this what my cooker is) the connections to be made are : 2 on old part to A on new; F on old to B on new; G/H on old to C on new and the link from G/H and 6 on old to be removed or "severed". I haven't yet done this as its in my cottage which I'm going to this weekend. Good luck! James

SOURCE: good evening i have a BT2431SS baumatic cooker,i

If it is a fan assisted electric oven, and the fan is wrking o/k, then it will probably be a faulty oven element.
This is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Baumatic fan assisted oven not heating up

The oven element has failed, you need to fit a new element.
It is a straight forward repair to do.
Remove inner rear panel of oven, you will see the round element at rear.
Unfasten element, detach wires, and fit new element.
Refit rear panel, and test.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

My neff oven b1664 rear fan element stays on after switched off

I suspect that the fan oven thermostat is faulty, probably a contact welded inside the stat.or possibly a faulty function selector switch.
If the fan is not running, then it is still getting a supply from the thermostat. Fit new stat.
