There isn't a GO button. There is an OK button and a START button. Neither one functions as described above. I wish it did. I bought ink to refill my cartridges and now I am very disappointed as they do not work anyway. Lexmark, you are evil. I do not care if some of my prints eventually are half-printed as I run out of ink. Allow us to have the option of taking our chances and ignoring your RFID chips! The real axis of evil is big business.

Lexmark S405 refill cartridge reset

When a Lexmark cartridge is refilled, it will not be able to report its ink level.
Please note that all Lexmark printers work best when original supplies or genuine Lexmark cartridges are used. We do not recommend the use of third party, refilled or remanufactured cartridges - you might not get the print quality you expect from ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark.

Describe your X2690 All-In-One InkJet Printer Problem how do you reset the print cartridge

Why do you want to reset it? For not using original Lexmark Cartridges? A lot of the newer printers will not work with compatible cartridges, regardsless of what the sellers of such cartridges tells you. You might want to try the following:

Power off the printer.
Hold the cancel (red) button in while powering on. Keep the cancel button in for atleast 10 seconds. On some Lexmark printers this will reset the cartridge error, but it does not work on all Lexmarks

How do i reset me lexmark 5070 printer after i used a refill for ink

  • Launch "Printer Solution Center." You should have installed this program when you installed your Lexmark printer. Click on the Start button and selecting "All Programs." The menu command or shortcut for this program is located under the "Lexmark" folder. Click on it. If you do not see this program for some reason, insert the installation CD (provided in the printer box) into the CD/DVD-ROM drive. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the program.

    Step 2
Click on the tab that says "Maintenance" on the top menu.

    Step 3
Click on the button titled "Install a new printer cartridge."

    Step 4
Hit "Next" to launch "Print the Alignment page" window.

    Step 5
Hit the "Print" button. This will reset your ink cartridges. You should be able to see a correct reading of the ink levels on your Lexmark printer.

    Step 6
Repeat this process until you successfully reset the ink cartridges. Sometimes, it may require multiple attempts to complete this task
