There actually is a way to duplicate pokemon. I call it cloning, although it's really just bad programming.
1. Go to Battle Tower's PC
2. Deposit the pokemon you want to duplicate
3. Log out, save, and turn off the gameboy
4. Turn on the gameboy and withdraw the pokemon you want to clone
5.Go to the nearest clerk, accept OPEN LEVEL
6. Start saving, the corrupt it by turning off the gameboy during the saving process
7. Turn on the gameboy.
You should now have one of each pokemon in your party and one of each in your PC.
WARNING: If you are trying to clone your whole party, then you will lose the Pokemon you had to keep in order to leave all of htem in the PC. I suggest using Magikarp for that.
