Question about Gateway MX8738 Notebook
My mouse pointer is not responding to anything. I tried a wired mouse, wireless and the touch pad. Nothing will move the pointer.

Check in the control panel under mouse. There should be a setting to enable tapping. If there is a touch pad icon on the bottom right of the screen you can also right click on that and select options.

Try another keyboard and mouse then repost your findings. If it still does not work the ports on your system may be failing and you can try a usb keyboard and mouse
