This Maytag Atlantis heats too hot; I cleaned off all the lint deposit from the drier itself and from the ducts, but it is still too hot, with heat coming out even in fluff. please help.

There are high/heat limit switches in the rear near the heating element. The switch needs to be replaced because its not shutting the heat off when it reaches correct temperature. Rear of dryer needs to be disassembled for this repair...............

Estate dryer will not get hot in any cycle, also will not turn off by itself

Unplug dryer before testing.

For your symptom the problem usually is the heater coil burned out. Inside rear cover in a can on the right side. A burned out coil will prevent heating and in the automatic cycle the timer will not advance if the heater is out. You can verify this by using the timed cycle. In timed dry the dryer should turn off even without heat.
