SOURCE: I need to replace the pump on Kitchenaid clothes dryer

Removing the cabinet. UNPLUG the washer. There are two screws holding the control panel to the cabinet. Most models the screw are in front but, some models have the screws in back. They are on each end. Now raise the control panel up and let it rest on the hinges. Unplug the lid switch harness and locate the clips on each side (bronze in color) and release them.
Now the cabinet will lift off the frame and you can set it aside.
I hope this helps. Please let me knwo if I can assist you further.

I have a Kitchenaid front load washer KHWS02RMT1. 1 How do I find out what the different codes mean?

The codes are not always available unless someone has posted them. Sometimes the manual will show error codes and leave a brief description of the problem but these codes are primary for service technician. Some manufacturers do not list codes for the consumers as they would rather have a technician fix it for you.

I need, Owners manual for Amana clothes washer and dryer. Washer #NFW7300WW, Dryer #NED7300WW.

Most Amana manuals are available from their Customer Service site: http://www.amana.com/content.jsp?pageName=CustServ . Enter the model number in the Manual and Literature search box and click the > button.

Which version of the NFW7300WW and NED7300WW do you have? The Amana site gives 3 different models which add 00, 01 or 02 to the end of the model number for the washer. The file lengths vary from the 00 to the 02 versions. There are two versions of the dryer; the model number gets a 0 or a 1 depending on the version.

The direct link to the manual for the NFW7300WW00 is: http://www.kitchenaid.ca/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%20W10252719.pdf . The direct link to the manual for the NED7300WW0 is http://www.kitchenaid.ca/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%20W10240875.pdf .

I hope this helps.

My 1998 kitchenaid clothes washer, model no. kaws750g squeals for 20 seconds or so at the beginning of the spin cycle. It still gets the water out of the clothes o.k. Could it be a belt or bearings? Thanks

Belt of bearing is a good call; I usually lean toward the belt, especially if it hasn't been replaced in a while. Like on a car, when a belt becomes worn, it develops slick spots that tend to slip before they grab, causing a squeal. It's a common repair and although your washer is 13 years old, that's still pretty young as far as washing machines go.
