The display in the screen is light and sometimes in negative...the service center told us that the t con board need a replacement but they cant find one..they told us to replace the whole panel board but the price is too high.. kindly help us on where we can buy a t con board for samsung la37a550p

I had same thing happen recently on same model. Turned it on one night, light came on in screen, briefly saw info bar at top, then nothing. Cannot get picture, volume or menu. Each time I turn off and turn on the same thing.
Any solution to this appreciated.

The replacement of the power supply is quite easy. You will have to remove the base if applicable and the back cover, once you remove it; you should see the power supply.

not sure what you're referring to as a "main board", but heres the LCD Control Board for the TV

Disconnect the LVDS Cable that runs from the small signal board to the display panel and apply power,if the screen comes on,the Small signal board (aka Scaler Bd ) is the faulty board. other than that,all that's really left that has gone bad for me is the logic board.

One of your transformers on the inverter board are failing to sustain regulated power to the florescent lamps resulting in a dark picture. Also check the SMD fuses on the inverter board(s) see if they have blown. You will need a continuity meter to check them. You can get one from radio shack and be sure to get one with audible sound....you don't have to replace boards when you can fix them.
