Printing Problem, Xerox Phaser 6200

We are getting a ghosting image on every print, which is about 62mm down on portrait or 62mm left on landscape. We have recently renewed the Imaging Unit, the Fuser and the Transfer Roller.

My printer xerox phaser 8560mfp is printing landscape 1/2 page instead of a full size portrait from a pdf file. How do I get that fixed? Thanks!

You need the new driver. Goto the Xerox website and download the latest driver and save it on your C: drive. Goto Devices and Printers and remove your existing Xerox 8560MFP. Reboot your computer and go back to this screen and click on "add a printer". When you get to the screen "Install the printer driver" you will see Xerox 8560MFP PS highlighted DO NOT CHOOSE THIS! (you will simply be installing the same driver from Windows 7 back). Instead, Click on "Have Disk... and navigate to where you saved the driver. Choose that one and finish the install.

I have a Phaser 6200 Printer and when I print the left side of my copy is very faded. Can you help me?

This could be an issue with several different components. It could be the toner, fuser, or imaging drum. I recommend first replacing the toner as this is probably the cheapest component. After that try replacing the fuser. Fuser kits for this model can be bought off Xerox directly, same as the imaging drum, which is the last thing to think about replacing. It is most likely a problem with the fuser. Parts found here.

My document is in portrait. I've used this same file for over 15 months. Now it is printing in landscape. I am loading the paper the same way I always have.

In your print driver, (start menu, printers and faxes, right click on your printer, select printing prefrences, and select protrait.)

This will set you back to your original portrait print prefrence.

Xerox 7232 and As400

016-799 is a printer paper conflict error. All you have to do for the AS/400 to print, is to make suree that tray 2 in the printer is set up to do landscape printing. There has to be at least one tray for portrait, and one for landscape in order for the AS/400 to print.

Xerox Phaser 6360N ghosting images on each page

Is it a ghost of the image or just a repeating defect? In the menu, there is a repeating defect information page that you can print out. Depending on the spacing of the defect, you can determine which component it is.

I have the Phaser 6200 and ghosting images are starting to appear on everything. I would say that about one third of the top part of the page is being reprinted very faintly at the bottom of the page. ...

Most likely you need to replace the fuser. The teflon coating on the heat roll wears, when it does some of the ink sticks to the roller and winds up as a "ghost" image across the page.
It could be your imaging unit. But more likely is the fuser.
Let me know please.

Paper trays

1. Remove the print driver on the PC if this is a local shared printer.

2. Re-share the printer will cause the driver to re-install.

Now the next way to fix issues like this too go to step 3, but only if step 1 and 2 does the same effect.

3. Turn it off and unplug it for 30 seconds.. Now plugin the power. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to force a reset back to factory defaults.

Still it sounds like a configuration error or bad network driver if this printer is on the network.
