Zanussi wjs1265w washer/dryer

Zanussi wj 1265 washer/dryer i located a leak in the plastic plumbing that goes to water inlet tray a screw that holds the fan assembly was missing and due to vibrations the top part of the plastic pipe came off which would cause foam and water to spill on the floor i fixed the pipe but machine takes water and starts to spin for 2secs. and stops and then the pump kicks in and pumps the water out and it keeps on trying to spin but only for 2secs then goes quite pump tries to pump water out where as theres no water left in the machine. i left it to dry for few days but its stuck in the 2secs. spin mode no matter what you do i also tried to see if only the dryer works without selecting any wash cycle but the results are the same the pump tries to pump water out which is not present and then spins for 2secs. exactly and cuts out spinning before it can gain any speed.
please can you suggest possible causes so that i can check as i am in pakistan and there are no repair centres here.3months ago i replaced the main drum bearings and it was working fine untill this happened. your promp help in this matter will be highly appreciated thanks.

Hi The door of the dryer is sealed with one or more gaskets to keep the hot air in the dryer from escaping and prevent the cool air in the laundry area from being sucked into the dryer. A deteriorated or damaged gasket greatly lowers the efficiency of the dryer. To check the gasket, hold a sheet of tissue paper near the rim of the door while the machine is running. If the door leaks, the paper will flutter. If the gasket or seal leaks, looks worn or warped, has chunks of material missing, or feels hard and nonresilient, it should be replaced with a new gasket of the same type.

I have a Zanussi washer dryer which suddenly stopped tumble drying. It is showing code E10, which the manual says is blocked inlet hose. I don't think this can be right, as the wash cycle is working...

it could be the cold water solenoid not allowing much nedded water into the condensor unit... i would check both the hot and cold water feed if both ok and allowing free flow of water into the system have somebody check the poer to both the solenoids if they working ok and allowing water in then check the water pipe from the solenoid going to the condensor which should sit at the backof the machine if this is blocked ornot allowing water to the condenser unit for what ever reason than that could cause the error...i ope thiss is off help kv

Can wjs1265w be connected to hot and cold water supply using Y connector - or must it be cold fill ONLY?

If there is only 1 inlet connector at rear of washer, then you must connect to the cold supply.
All current washers and washer dryers are cold fill only now.
If it has 2 connectors, then you must still connect to cold using a Y piece to make the final connection to washer.
Hope this helps.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.

E10 code on a zanussi jet system washer

Is it a washer-dryer? E10 relates to a fault with the inlet valve.....usually the valve itself going open circuit.

If the oven doesn't heat evenly or doesn't heat at all, the oven thermostat may be malfunctioning. First, determine how much the temperature in the oven is off from the control setting. To do this, put an oven thermometer on a center rack inside the oven and turn the oven on for about 20 minutes, with the thermostat set at any range between 300 degrees and 400 degrees Farenheit. If the oven thermometer reads 25 degrees or more lower or higher than the oven control setting, the thermostat should be recalibrated. Here's how to calibrate the thermostat:

Step 1: Pull off the thermostat knob on the control panel. Behind the knob are two screws holding a round, notched plate. Loosen these screws, but do not remove them.

Step 2: With a screwdriver, change the notch setting on the notched plate by turning the plate counterclockwise; for every eighth of a turn, the oven temperature goes up about 25 degrees Farenheit. To turn the heat down, turn the plate clockwise.

Some thermostats can be adjusted by turning a screw inside the control knob shaft housing. To do so, remove the knob and insert a screwdriver into the shaft so that the screwdriver blade engages a screw slot. Turn the screwdriver counterclockwise about one-eighth of a turn to raise the heat about
25 degrees Farenheit. Here's how to test a malfunctioning thermostat:

Step 1: Test the thermostat with a VOM (multimeter) set to the RX1 scale. The thermostat is located directly on the back of the control knob that regulates the heat. To gain access to the thermostat, remove the back service panel to the control panel.

Step 2: Disconnect one electrical lead wire from a terminal of the thermostat and clip one probe of the VOM to each thermostat terminal. If the thermostat is in working order, the meter will register zero. If the needle jumps to a higher reading, the thermostat is faulty and should be replaced.

Step 3: If necessary, replace the thermostat with a new one of the same type.

If you need to replace the thermostat, follow these guidlines:

Step 1: Disconnect the terminal wires to the thermostat and pull off the control knob.

Step 2: Remove the retaining screws. On some ranges, there is a wire running from the thermostat into the oven. This wire operates a sensing bulb that controls the thermostat. The sensing bulb is usually held by a bracket; unscrew this bracket to remove the bulb. Then carefully slip out the wire, the bulb, and the thermostat.

Step 3: Install the new thermostat using a reverse procedure.

Hello kalsoomabid,
Welcome to fixya.
I'm Huuum and happy to assist you,

Sounds like we need to try to reset the system!

Huuum At your service!
Lets try this,
Like with an error code.
This can reset the system if it is electronic!
Unplug the appliance and wait a 5 minutes then restart it.
If you can't reach the plug, use the breaker to cut the power for 5 minutes.

It's like rebooting your computer when its acting strange!
Usually it corrects some error problems if they are not serious.
Or they are sometimes just a glitch.

Let me know how it works!
Waiting for your reply!

Please remember to leave a appropriate rating when you are done!
Thank You

E10 Error Code

The filter is behind the square panel - on the right below the loading door. Push it to open the cover and unscrew the filter, some water may come out when you unscrew it. unclog the filter and screw it back in.

You can seal the cap by some tape, but it is better to get a good replacement, for the filter needs periodic maintenance. Your machine will not drain well if the filter is clogged.

E10 error code

I had this problem, the washer/dryer stopped working while in the drying cycle and displayed e10 message. It was caused by a faulty three-way inlet valve. The solenoid controlling flow to dryer condenser proved to be open circuit. Pulled washer out from under counter top, unplugged, removed top cover, tested solenoid circuits with ohm meter and found one solenoid was faulty. The filter going into the unit was clear. Replaced whole three way component with one ordered on Internet and all now works fine. Noticed that during drying cycle, water to condenser is constantly being switched on and off, explaining why the green condenser solenoid is the one that wears out first.
