Question about Philips HDD070 MP3 Player
No charge. No lights. Do not recognize the pc when connected by usb.
If you connect AC, the screen turns on, but does not display or logo or anything, just the blank screen.
I pressed the UP and Power, Volume + and Power, Volume + and UP and nothing, not to be unplugged from the current or prior to pressing Power
You need a new battery, or if your good with a magnifier and soldering iron just remove the two top screws and remove the sides to get access to the battery.remove battery and slice the plastic shrink wrap on the battery then unsolder one end of the little circuit board, put a small drop of rosin flux on all the ends of the components on the underside of the board and rework the connections so they are nice and shiny. re-solder the tab you un-soldered in step one and replace the shrink wrap apply a piece of clear scotch tape to hold it in place and re- install the battery and assemble the case. it should work fine now.
