If you are calling the washplate the spinner pry off the dome then take out the six or eight bolts holding it down.

Spinner on twin tub washing machine not spinning

I have had a manatee twin tub washing machine with spinner for two years. When I went to spin dry the first load this evening, it would turn on, but not spin. I read the above entry about another twin tub. I did the following... I unplugged the machine for 1 minute. Plugged it back in, then slowly and carefully turned the spin tub clockwise for 1/4 turn, then counter-clockwise for 1/4 turn. I cannot explain why it worked, but it did. So, try this trick before taking it apart. Good luck!

My WB85260NP washing machine is not taking water, but spinner is working and counting time. It's not displaying any error.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. If you mean you are not getting any water into the tub, you need to check your water pump. Make sure it is working and getting power if it is not. Check to see if it is clogged also.

My washer had stopped spinning about two weeks ago, we replaced thecoupler and it worked fine but today it stopped spinning again

1
Unplug the washing machine, and turn off the water supply to the machine. If necessary, remove the water hoses from the back of the washing machine because they may be in the way of the access panel.
2
Check that the agitator is seated correctly by opening the lid of the washing machine. If it's loose, pop off the top of the agitator--if there is one--and tighten the bolt that holds the agitator in place. Or, in some models, simply pull straight up and then reseat the agitator.
3
Remove the access panel located in the back of the washing machine by unscrewing the screws holding it in place. This allows access to the drive motor.
4
Press on the drive belt that works the agitator. If the belt moves more than 3/4 inch, tighten the belt to fix the spinner problem. If the belt is worn or cracked, replace the belt.
5
Replace the drive motor, if tightening or replacing the drive belt doesn't fix the agitator. Purchase a new drive motor at a wholesale retailer. Disconnect wiring, remove screws holding motor in place and insert new motor. Screw into place, and connect wiring.
6
Check for any black substance leaking under the washing machine. This might indicate a clutch problem, if the washing machine spinner is not working. Contact a professional repairman to replace the clutch.

The clutch assembly is stuck although the cluthch

It sounds like the Spinner Shaft Coupler is severely rusted into the Clutch One-Way Roller clutches bearing in the Clutch Pulley and the Spinner Shaft. And if your machine is using the Upper One-Way Roller clutches bearing ring that may be severely rusted to the Spinner Shaft also.

Did you read my Clutch Fix post to disassemble and remove the clutch pulley assembly?

As you can see it’s a tight work area. You may have to rotate the Outer Tub out of the machine to ease removal. I suspect you could have a Tub Seal leak issue. I would lay the machine on it’s back protecting the drain hose exit and tap lightly with a hammer and see if you can free.

Let me know if I can help……Rich

Water not coming with force in Fisher & Paykel SmartDrive Top-loa

Try taking the cold hose of at the tap and check to see if has a little mesh filter in there. This could be blocked up with gunk.

The machine is not spinning properly after the wash and the clothes are left wet and sometime the machine is also full of water. If the problem is with the spinner how much would be the repair cost! Thank...

i want you to watch the control
check your lock light
full off water usually means it is not pumping properly
i would remove the back panel
unplug the machine
once the back is off
you will see the pump disconnect the ealectricla leads and the two hoses
turn the pump and pull up it locks in the bottom
on the twist
make sure the pump and both hoses are clear
if it were the spinner you would be noticing other things

Leaking water not the hoses when spinning theres a flow of water as if the pump is leaking or something

Good morning! possibly the connection fittings of the hoses from the spinner/washer tube are loose which probably is the source of the leak. best regards.

Spinner support - HELP

really???? your trying to get this off yourself? i cant believe you have the courage to try this repair!!!
when these units are making an airplane taking off noise then you are at the right place.
also sometimes the support will break and make a thumping or banging noise in spin.
seriously if you dont have warranty on this then you should just go buy a new washer, if it is under warranty, maybe a lifetime warr on the innertub, then we dont try to remove the bearings, just replace both the inner and outer tub. the outer tub comes with the bearings in it already. be carefull to install the seal properly so the new one wont leak.
also if you call maytag they may help you with free parts but you might have to pay for labor to have it done by an authorized repair company.

WASHER SOUNDS LIKE AN AIRPLANE TAKING OFF DURING SPINE CYCLE

Most likely a failed "spinner" assy. The roaring that you hear is the bearing telling you it's had enough and has gone on strike.

MAJOR job! If it's over 5 years old, I recommend calling a professional and get quotes. Then decide what you want to do.

If it's less than 5 years old, it should be under warranty. Contact Sears. Tell them you have a failed spinner and tub bearing assy. and have them do the repair.

*Just a quick note. You should use only HE detergent in these machines.
