Carrier ac E4 error

If this is a ductless mini split e4 appears to be an air temp sensor on the indoor or outdoor unit that is sensing an abnormal reading. Check air filter and both I.d & o.d coil cleanliness. Its hard to troubleshoot without a model number. If its a 38g or 40g in the model number its a discharge temp sensor reading high temp situation (dirty o.d. coil, low freon, refrigerant restriction. Again, need a model #

What is the ac gas pressure for mercedez 200c

Gas pressure for ac can be determined by the type of refrigerant not the model of the car. The outdoor temp will also be a major factor. 134a low side while its running could be around 35 psi to 45. While filling track temp of air supplying your vents and you shoul get a 15-20 degree differential form outdoor.

The unit constantly freezes up. Suction is at 85, liquid is at 285, suction line temp is 52. Ambient 85, while inside is at 85-88. Only 1-2 degrees of superheat. Taking refrigerant out lowers line temp...

Has anyone added refrigerant? If there was a blockage I would think the suction pressure would be lower. Are you sure it isn't just overcharged. If you take the ambient and add 20F that would give you a condensing temperature of 105 which gives you a pressure of about 210# on the high side and something to shoot for. I don't know if this helps you. Also, the numbers I listed are for R22. You didn't mention what type is in the unit.

Ice up on air condition unit- temp Star Unit

Icing up is caused by low pressure in the unit. This can be caused by two things:

    (1) Low air flow. (dirty filters, dirty coils, blower not working)

    (2) Low refrigerant.

    Hope this helps.

Been researching this model, and haven't seen anything about what type of refrigerant it uses. Does it have a compressor and use refrigerant?

Yes it does have a compressor - I believe this particular unit is a 10000 BTU unit w/compressor and uses R410A refrigerant which is btw a ozone friendly refrigerant.

Need ref charge in ozs suct press at temp for superba 42

Refrigeration charge in grams will be found on the label with the model number and serial number. The type of refrigerant is also on this label and the type of refrigerant which is more than likely 134a. You can weight the gas in or you can charge to 10psi, then run unit and adjust up or down as required.
