if yes, and u are using windows xp or later, then no worry

if yes , and u are using windows 98 then u need to plug in mainboard near pci slots

If you think the PC boots up but just no screen, check the Graphics settings in BIOS for first/initial diaplay with PCI instead of other Graphics Ports (on board/PCIe/PCI/AGP)? Disable on board display if any.
