check the book that comes with the motherboard , it should show the location of the small jumper switch on the motherboard which enables/disables onboard audio. if there isnt one press the "delete" key at start-up and enter the system BIOS you may be able to disable it there

i have a 26 'x canvas LG LCD TV.After connecting it to my Pantium 3 Compeq CPU it works as 26" monitor.I want to make a new CPU which when connected to my LCD andA5.1-7.1 channel speeker with amplifier should give real 5.1-7.1 channe sound out put and my LCD should suport as a perfect moniter to perform as OS moniter and gamming moniter.Please suggest the full cofurigation with the type of mother board.prosesor,soundand grafic card and Internet opretions.
Right click my computer icon, click properties, select hardware then
click device manager, check the audio device you can see the yellow
question mark,insert mother cd driver then right click the yellow
question mark and update the driver. otherwise change the audio driver..
