    Thanks,

Been off all afternoon so, removed USB and powered on.. After warm up lights are: Green and third amber flash fast together. If then switched off and on again, back to same error lights as above with clicking.

    Thanks.
Yes, there was a paper jam which was cleared at the time. Just stripped printer down again and no signs of any paper jam.

Stripped down again and cleaned rollers and sensors. Also reset. Still the same.

Here my 2 cents. all else failed. try
there are 2 belts located on either side of the printer, you have to remove all of the image drums. look for the blue knob. 45 degree counter clock to release, clock to tighten. make sure the belt is in place and tight. if not replace them.

Any of the minute piece of paper oor any dust particles are definately remained in the printer for sure.as because of that the gears are not been able to move properly and come to its exact position and showing this error.
or the other problem could be that there is a sensor in the printer that sence the paper in the tray .so that sensor is moved from its orignal position or broken while removing the paper jam.so its deticting that error continuously.because if its minor problem then unplugging the printer for sometime and then replugging it should definately help.
both the gear problem and the sensor problem needs your printer to be checked by qualified technician at your place.
it would not cost much as the replacement of sensor will not be more then 5$ plus the technicians service charge.

rate the solution if helped.
feel free for further assistance.
thanks.

With the printer still on, manually try to pull out the sheet to facilitate easier movement of the rollers. Examine the inner workings and confirm that all paper and shreds of paper have been removed. If the paper tore during the clearing, make sure none remains or it will inhibit normal printer function. Once you get the paper out, look for any debris/small bits of paper stuck in or around the rollers. Using a can of compressed air to blow away the gunk would be a good idea.

Next, switch off the printer and try wiping the rollers with a damp cloth. Wait until they dry completely and try reprinting. You could, as some other Experts have suggest, try a hrd reset first by disconnecting supply and PC connection, wait about 5 minutes and then reconnect everything.

Also ensure that you have selected the proper paper type in the printer properties, and used suitable paper as specified in your owner's manual. Check the size of the paper in the paper tray to see if it is the same as what the printer is set for.

This issue could also be indicative of some defective sensor, in which case a service call may be required.

You may need to open again the printer and double check for any foreign object still inside that may cause this problem....

I have Brother MFC 7820N printer. It has a loud clicking sound on the left rear end and paper will not feed, sometimes the first page will print and no paper message will be shown? Can you please help

It sounds like a displaced drive gear in the gear chain to the fuser. If you remove the covers and the fuser unit you should be able to manually turn the gears to check for jams or slips. Make sure all ther gears are correctly seated and no missing teeth.

Check the rails the paper tray sits upon. see if the one on the right side is damaged or dislodged. You didn't say if the noise happened when you printed from the 2nd paper tray.

Drilling sound during print the paper and at the same time paper jammed. For your information i'm using the oki B4600 printer

Sounds like a worned out fuser drive gear, you need to replace it or check for debrie in the fuser unit preventing it from turning free.

Good luck!

While printing it will start to make a clicking noise and the paper will stop feeding through the printer

Sounds like its got broken gear teeth inside. Will need to take it to a printer repairer, be aware that you will get a quote to repair as its usualy c heaper to replace.

Don't know how well they are accessed in your machine but the transport rollers likely need to be cleaned/resurfaced or replaced. This is not normally a DIY project since most units require some disassembly to access the rollers and certain parts of the unit are fussy and easily damaged.
In my estimation, based on a couple of decades of service, the Oki line is the best available.
